Probably. I mean, just by the reveal trailer you could just tell it was going to be dull and more of the same. I really think Nintendo should let the Mario Party series die once and for all, even though I know they won't because somehow it still sells like hot pancakes.

I would love a Mario game that is like the board game Clue. Imagine solving mysteries on Peach's Castle, the Comet Observatory, Delfino Plaza, etc... Every stage would have its own set of victims and suspects, for example, in Delfino Plaza, the victims would be Pianta, Noki or other islanders...
