Let's take a look at what we got for this month's Spotlight.
Kamek's Curse (wanted articles)
Chomp Ruins (rewrite)
Pipeline Boom Lagoon (rewrite-expand)
River Piranha Plant (citation needed)
Gold Lakitu (more images needed)

Great work! I remember...
I did enjoy playing the LEGO games, like Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean, so I think one based off of the Mario franchise would be really interesting, and I'd be all for it.
I'm aware that YouTube or other streaming platforms aren't the greatest for uploading images from, but I wasn't sure if the image might've popped up in a pre-release trailer, that presumably Nintendo would have a high-quality version of on their channel. If it's gameplay footage taken at demos...
As we can see, we're already off to a pretty good start! Let's try and keep that up.
Basic Training (challenge) (wanted article)
Lots O'Fish (stub)
Machine Made (rewrite-expand / long trivia)
Rosalina (citation needed)
Patty (Dragon Quest) (more images needed)
File:PM3DS nsmbw grassland.png...
In regard to existing Mario locations, I say make a new article for it. Like with Fortune Street some of the gameboards are based off of existing locations like Bowser's Castle, and I believe the Mario Circuit one is practically meant to be the Wii iteration of that course, so I feel like...
The three main ones that jump to mind are Rayman, Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot. But, perhaps someone from the Dynasty Warriors series, like Lu Bu, could work.
Last month wasn't our greatest outing, so let's try and get this month to be better!
World 3 (Dr. Mario World) (wanted article)
Raven (section stub)
Dr. Mario (game) (rewrite-expand)
Russ T. (citation needed)
Sticky Situation (level) (more images needed)

I'm basically options 5-7, honestly no character that is added to Smash will disappoint me. It's an extra person to play as and try to experiment with to see if they gel with my playstyle. Personally, I guess I'd prefer someone from a different series to be added, but I'm not going to be mad if...
We had a fairly successful run last time, so let's try and keep it up this time around as well!
Blob & Key (wanted article - WarioWare: D.I.Y.)
Toodles (rewrite - Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door)
Super Mario Kart (rewrite-expand)
Control Coin (citation - Super Mario World)
Shakespeare Bust...
Thank you very much for the introduction, @Yoshi the SSM! And that planetary thing is very interesting, does that planet match up with any others in the galaxy?
As for Spotlight goals for February 2020,
Royal Coffers - Luigi's Mansion 3 (wanted articles)
Touchstone Turmoil - Captain Toad...
I don't really play many games with other people, so option 2 is the one for me. I've had fun with them in the past, but I'm not going to care if it's not there.
I guess in a way, Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island kind of shaped me, this was probably the game that fully got me into the Mario series, and without it I might not be on this forum. As for life-shaping, joining the forum and subsequently The 'Shroom definitely helped keep my love of...
Your main thesis focuses on the fact that I'll notice said eleventh hour change. I usually do Spotlight about a week / week and a half before release, in which I click on various articles for the process. I have parts of the month where I'm too busy to check all of these things, hence why...
I must admit I haven't played Sticker Star, and I don't think criticism because it tried something different from the others games does merit such a harsh reception. Nonetheless, from what I have heard, the game does have its issues, and I feel number 4 is the option for me.
Uninstalled and reinstalled, but that save was completely dead. New planet works fine though, so it might have just been a case of corrupted save data.
So today, I downloaded Spore from Steam onto my Windows 10 laptop. Everything worked fine (although cell stage didn't have full graphics) until the Tribal Stage. A little while after befriending the first tribe, as my villagers returned to my village, the game crashed. I reloaded the game and...
New Year, New Us (sort of), let's try and get the remaining three goals completed!
Anyone with Mario Strikers and Strikers Charged, see if you can find out what events (if any) this stadium is the stadium for. Like how it's the Super Flower Field's default stadium, are there any other cups or...
One thing I was talking about with my sister the other day is like a Zoo Tycoon style game, but with Pokemon.
And like where you had to sometimes think about the kind of enclosures you'd put the animals in (can't do chainlink with the monkeys as they'll use it to climb out), have it so it suits...
I'm not really interested in the multiplayer part of Luigi's Mansion 3, so it won't effect me. But honestly, I'm on option 3. I just don't really see the point in this game getting additional content, and think it would've been better served for a different game.
As promised, I have six great DK focuses for us to fix up. And for the first time in months, I'm posting this with all six goals needing to be completed. Let's make the Great Ape proud and get these done!
Letter (Mario vs. Donkey Kong) (wanted article)
Konga Coliseum (stub / citation needed)...
To play, probably something like tennis or badminton. Although, swimming is also a good pastime. As for watching, I love watching motorsport, mainly Formula 1, and diving.
My first game was Wild World and I fell in love with my three initial villagers: Drake, Goose and Dotty. But since playing more, I really like Walker and Apollo. I like most of the cranky-type villagers as well.
I am hoping that Luigi's Mansion 3 or Yoshi's Crafted World is coming my way as a Christmas present. I wouldn't be opposed to a Mario plush, but they're not very common here and don't want to be sending people to order them just for me.
I've enjoyed all of the Kirby games I've played, but Kirby's Adventure Wii does hold a special place in my heart. I think it's a mixture of good soundtrack, some copy abilities I really liked, and it's one of my last gaming memories of playing cooperatively with my family.
I will put it in for January. 'Shroom is having a DK theme for the next edition, so I'm going to try and DK-theme it. Ironically, the only goal that still needs completing this month is the DK-related one 😅
Exactly what Archangel said, I kind of have a habit of missing out words when I type sometimes 😅 But yes,it's a new team each time, that said I am trying to slightly get out of this one, and enjoy more like I did when I was younger.
In Animal Crossing: Wild World, I would begin each day by talking to the animals in the order they appear in the bar on the right side of the screen.
As for Pokemon, since Gen V, I've made a new time for each Gym / Story battle instead of keeping a consistent one.
Growing up as the youngest child, I watched my siblings play many games before I did, so I already knew a lot of things for games like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Kingdom Hearts and Digimon World. Also, when the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games were a craze, there were always people getting far ahead...
I can't think of an instance of myself having seen one of these, but fundamentally as long as they got all the relevant permissions from Nintendo, I'd have no issue with it whatsoever.
We are already halfway completed with this month's Spotlight, let's try get the full six done before the next edition!
Windward Way (wanted article)
Jack Peg (rewrite)
Piro Dangle (rewrite-expand)
Franklin Badge (citation needed)
Prickly Goomba (more images needed)

I'm stuck between two and four, I really appreciate a great soundtrack, and if it's good enough it will probably enhance my enjoyment, but overall I'm not really playing a game to listen to the music.
We have spooky scary Spotlight focuses, two of which have been finished by time of writing. Well done to Alex95 and Toadette the Achiever for sourcing and image improving.
King MacFright (wanted article)
Boo Valley (stub)
Scare-Oh! (rewrite-expand)
Luigi's Ghost Mansion (citation needed)
Stone...
Option 1. I would love to see arcade tracks appear on main consoles so I can actually play them. Similarly, I wouldn't mind if there was a way to get the arcade games onto a console.
I'd say a mixture of two and three. As long as we keep getting good ol' Mario games, I'm happy, but I would not be objecting to other characters being the focus from time to time.
I did consider having 500 focuses, but decided against it. But at the time of posting half of our focuses have already been fulfilled.
Blown Away (microgame) (wanted articles)
Swiss Cheese Alps (stub)
Dry Desert Mushrooms (rewrite-expand)
Abandon Ship (minigame) (citation needed)
Sasquatch...
I will always support the unorthodox character choice in games. My main desire for a new character is someone I personally want, but I'm generally happy no matter who comes in.
