The only retail games I have at the moment are New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U, Wii Sports Club, and the Deadly Six Bonus Edition of Sonic: Lost World. As for the Virtual Console... Super Mario World.

That's not very uncommon. Many other people happen to find that (and the boss theme) to be creepy, too. I'm not saying I'm one of them, but I can still see where people are coming from.

What about the Wii Virtual Console? Super Mario RPG has been on it for almost six years now.

Bitter about that, of all things? I don't have a problem with people liking different things from me. In fact, I can name quite a few things I like that other people hate, so that's nothing I'd lose sleep over. Like I said, that was a question that was asked out of curiosity and confusion...

...Ugh. Really? That was merely a question that I asked out of curiosity, because of how largely-hated that game is compared to the others. Why the hell are people always making things I say seem worse than what they actually are?

Wait a minute... How is it that Sticker Star managed to get a vote, while both Super Mario RPG and Dream Team did not?

I can't speak for anyone else, I don't hate it just because of it being different from Thousand-Year Door. Super Paper Mario was different from it, too, and I consider that game (for the most part) to be a masterpiece. I'll just sum it up with this post I made about seven months ago:

I voted for Super Paper Mario. Even though the first RPG game I've played was Super Mario RPG, the former game is what truly what got me into the RPGs in the first place. Plus, it features Dimentio, who happens to be my favorite villain in the series.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Bowser. He's such a boring, overrated, and cliched excuse for a villain that gets far more attention than he deserves.

Wasn't that pretty much every boss battle in a nutshell?

I think I know how this game's going to turn out. They're most likely going to disregard what 3D World established and go back to doing the same thing they've been doing. By that, I mean the same overused villain, same repetitive storyline, and whatever else I might have missed.

That Elec Man model is awesome.

I don't know whether or you were being serious or not, but I'm merely calling things as I see them. Bowser gets way too much attention from both the fans and the developers. As a villain, I honestly don't understand his appeal. He does the same thing over and over, and next to none of his plans...

Yeah, I guess you've got a point. As to whether or not this thread should be deleted... That probably isn't necessary, since it could simply be merged into the other one.

There's already a topic like this. In response to the topic at hand, Bowser gets my vote. I don't think there's a single character in the entire franchise that's more overrated or as overused as he is.

Yeah, they're linked through a password system. Any password that you find in one of the games ends up working in the other.

Re: Who will you main in MK8? Who will I main as? Nobody, because the chances of me getting this game are slim to none. I've stopped caring about the spin-offs long ago. The last one that I purchased was Mario Kart DS, and I pretty much gave up on them after that.

Unfortunately, this is the closest to console ports that the 2013 Sonic 1 and 2 remakes will be getting. Quite a shame, really.
