Half Life 2 also have a cool soundtrack.
Its very techno like but what's better is that the music only plays during certain situations, such as:
When the Combine Soldiers are attacking you en masse, or when the huge gunship in Level 3 is flying after you when you are in the boat.
I do, but it does not change the fact that compared to every other Fighting Game, its easy.
I know its designed to be accessible for everyone by having simple combos but that waters down the difficulty somewhat.
Say in a Street Fighter game for example, there are button combos that require you...
Its still an easy game, anyone can pull off combo after combo after combo.
Smash Balls themselves are another easy win, as are many of the items.
You say its not easy, I say it is, that's the name of it.
Because whenever I faced someone at Brawl, they were normally destroyed.
Now I never go online with Brawl since its a hideous lagfest so when I play it, I just crash against a gang of Lv 9'ers.
Is that sarcasm or are you being serious?
No Mario game has an amazing storyline, the RPG ones have good ones because that's the name of the genre.
MP only has a wafer thin storyline to hide the fact that its basically Mario Monopoly.
I hated Jungle Beat then, and I'll still hate it now.
All I want is Metroid Prime 1 and 2 to be on Wii, and if the difficulty of these games is reduced, then Nintendo will pay the ultimate penalty. :posh:
I wish Metal Gear Solid 4 was on other consoles and Smartass is indeed correct, the 360 is the current best.
It has games for everyone, unlike Nintendo who want Mom and Dad to play and are ignoring everyone else, for now at least.
The Wooden Dresser boss from Dynamite Headdy is quite wacky.
First of all, its just a basic brown coloured doll, then I bounces offscreen and re-appears wearing a Dragon costume, eventually this changes into a Ballet Costume and dances everywhere and spins after you, and finally into a robot...
As far as RPG's go, its a standard story, but since its Mario, its good.
The villain being manipulated by a higher power is very common in RPG's (See Final Fantasy 4 for details) but that's not to say its bad, its just predictable.
However, since the plot of most Mario games is basically, Bowser...
Viva Pinata has a very nice soundtrack.
Both the original and sequel share the same music (mostly) but its nice.
Its all fully orchestrated which is always nice.
Rare's site has the music there as well.
The power to manipulate Gravity.
I could pretty much rule the world with this one, since I'd just adjust people's gravity fields and crush them if opposed.
Recently, I downloaded the HD Street Fighter 2 on my 360, and its very fun.
I'm usually Cammy or Bison and am fairly competent at it.
So today I purchased SF 4 and I have to say its very good.
Excellent graphics and smooth animation all around, the stage musics are as good as ever and the...
I've seen the legendarily awful Manos the Hands of Fate.
That film is so awful, so hated, that it'll make you cry tears of blood.
I know when I watched it on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 I ended up in a coma for 2 weeks after.
PvP can be horribly broken in an RPG.
Pokemon is a fine example of this as you have your normal players who pick the Pokemon they like best, then you have the Masters who train Pokemon which have the highest stats, best moves and so on.
Put 1 of each in a fight and the Master Gamer would always win.
Because I like its slim shape compared to the old DS, and its screen is a lot brighter.
Oh and I also want to be able to play on my GBA games?
No GBA slot on the DSi = fail. :posh:
No chance am I getting a DSi.
All modern phones have cameras that make the DSi look years out of date.
Plus, no GBA slot so good bye backwards compatibility.
Thanks but if my Lite breaks, I'll just buy another one.
I hope Nintendo don't make a new MP game.
The last one was terrible and in my opinion, the last good MP game was waaay back on the Gamecube with Mario Party 4.
Its just getting very repetitive now, there's not much variety between games anymore since every idea has been used.
I have:
5" Yoshi Figurine
1 Bowser Kart figurine
1 Wario Kart figurine
1 Large Mario Kart RC Kart
1 Yoshi Keyring
1 Wario Keyring
Other stuff not Mario related:
12" Link Plushie (Phantom Hourglass style)
11" Verdugo figurine (Resi 4)
11" Krauser figurine (Resi 4)
3 Resident Evil wristbands
1...
Well:
Grodus is just a bouncing head and has only Lord Crump and some others as an army,
Dimentio is probably stuck in the Underwhere forever,
Cackletta and Elder Princess Shroob both were utterly destroyed.
So a new recurring villain would be quite welcome, oh and Bowser Jr does not count.
Liberty Prime from Fallout 3 as a stage obstacle.
Every now and again he'd fire huge blue lasers at the arena whilst yelling Anti Communist Propaganda like in the game.
BETTER DEAD THAN RED
Lets see:
Games:
Paper Mario
Donkey Kong Country 2
Donkey Kong Country 3
Dynamite Headdy
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Bomberman 93
Mystical Ninja
Mario Kart 64
Super Mario 64
Kirby 64
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros: Lost Levels
Super Mario Bros 2
Super Mario Bros 3...
Ahh I see where this came from.
In another topic, buddy here said Pokemon was babyish, and I called him out on it by saying its no more babyish than Mario.
However this does not mean I think Mario is babyish as I know its not all to well.
See SPM for details.
