I guess not, because that would be counter-productive if we do year pages. Do you want to think about year pages? Do you want to do it by decade so there's more to work with? That might be a good compromise, then the redirect-fixing will be to 1980s, 1990s, etc.
Mario games by date wouldn't need to be combined since the date articles would solve the problem and the games by date page serves a purpose as a games-centric page. I think ideally we'd want an article for each year including a list of events but they would also be articles (not just lists)...
I will recommend the google

It's intentional that they don't get a welcome on their talk page because they now get it first thing upon account creation through MediaWiki:Welcomecreation. This is better than having thousands of talk pages sitting around for users that never do anything.
Re: The Official Birthday Thread - UPCOMING B-DAYS - 23 - Porple - 27 - SolarBlaze
Thanks everyone! It was a busy day of server moving, but good for the wiki in the long run. :porple:
Thank you all for your patience yesterday. I guarantee that I'm the least excited about these things because of the work that goes in. We were on our last server for over three years and were due for an upgrade, and may this one last us even longer.
Now does anyone else have a strange desire...
Yes, and these articles should remain a focus for a while. I might not have time to do another large split-job for some time anyway.
Let's make sure we have screenshot for all the infoboxes, including rainbow courses. A gallery of star coin locations for each level would be great.
The new format is great. Perfect for when you have the level in mind but don't remember which letter/number it is.
Right now I'm doing some speed-splitting to move this along. To do: follow-up with proper formatting.
It's worked-up in the policy that the page titles will be 1-Castle, 1-Cannon, etc. We could do a disclaimer or something at the top of the page that the title is actually the image thing.
Based on this policy. I propose that we do this one game at a time, starting with New Super Mario Bros. 2.
I've split World 1 (New Super Mario Bros. 2), and you can see the general format (example 1-1).
To do for NSMB2: split the rest of the worlds, create {{NSMB2 Levels}} navbox.
I agree with you on this. Also, bumping dead threads should be somewhat discouraged. I've updated Rule 14 to reflect these ideas, but it's more of a guideline.
The 4 months thing is consistent with the SMF warning of replying to old topics.
