There's no standard in wiki policy regarding this, and IMO there shouldn't be. My view is that if anyone is credited on a Mario game, or can produce sufficient proof of their involvement, they warrant a page.
There's currently more pages on creatives than technical folks because rightly, or...
The marketing blitz for the movie has seen an onslaught of merch (figures, die-cast toys cars, plushes, the lot) like no other moment in the series history and though I can't really contribute as it seems none of this stuff has yet to be released in Canada, I do want to stress I think this is...
The original SMB's appeal becomes very easy to understand when you realize the below is the competition if you wanted a game where you jump/climb over things and fight enemies
If Nintendo had C&D it, the YOutube embed would say so.
I'll just say this: people can get real weird about quote-unquote lost media, both those finding and seeking out the stuff. Sucks all the same.
People don't like the update model because there's a clear trend of these modern Mario sport games launching with a low amount of modes, characters, courses et cetera, a quantity of content that's often inferior to their GameCube and N64 counterparts, and then getting an handful of staggerer...
Would fast-food promo figures (ie: McDonald's happy meals) go in "food" or "figures"? Or could they be their own section (I know wendy's had a warioware smooth moves puzzle)
The wiki's coverage for physical toys and other merch is lackluster. The stuff is rarely mentioned on characters page, and when it is, it's usually and short and very not-exhaustive sections. Pages about the stuff tend to be also lacking, rarely giving details on the manufacturer or release date...
And the worst game I've actually played to completion is Conflict Denied Ops. I have played and completed Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Rogue Warrior and Gundam Crossfire multiple times so this is a very serious statement.
The previous Conflict games were squad-based third person shooters...
So I don't remember who told me to add that on there but either way it's gone from the list as a scan has been uploaded on the wiki yesterday. Woo-hoo!
For the next 45 minutes, this post by the official twitter account of the Lyndon Baines Johnson library remains extremely topical https://twitter.com/LBJLibrary/status/1521859694045765632
For years, I've pondered what a 3D game starring Ashley would be like. The resulting monstrosity is of course widly brand-unfriendly, probably terrible and the very concept of Ashley having her own game is ponderous... but what the hell.
The idea: A 3D Action game that brings the execution...
Back when SMB was new, Miyamoto referred to its genre and other jumping and running-heavy platformers as "athletic games". I assume the nomenclature was chosen with this in mind.
