Game looks good, but not really feeling the starters so far. Going to keep the tradition of going with the water starter though, so Sobble it is.

Second trailer is out. Seems to pretty much confirm that it's going to be loosely based on the game's plot with its own flair. As someone who's actually played the game, I'm curious to see how faithful it is to the game (not like I care if it's faithful to it anyways). Spoilers ahead:

Not really a fan of the Funko Pop-esque character designs and how slow it looks, but everything else seems fine.

I think they did a better job capturing the atmosphere of the final boss music in this remake than the Superstar Saga one, personally. Not to say the new rearrangement of the Superstar Saga music is bad, but I think the BIS remake one is better overall.

I beat WoL 100%, saw both the bad endings and the true ending and my time was 20:30:13, and that includes idling time as well. Granted this was on Normal, so it'll probably be even shorter to 100% on Easy and longer on Hard. Anyways, as for Spirits, as a replacement for events I like them...
