Super Paper Mario, definitely. The game isn't one of my favorite RPGs, but the final boss music is the best one. It's so EPIC!! And if you guys didn't know, there's this cool website called RPG music where you can listen to recordings of tracks from a lot of RPGs. Google it.
Cackletta. Probably just because I love Superstar Saga so much. That game was truly awesome. She's just epic... and her theme music is creepy, but in a cool way.
I voted both. Those two might be my favorite characters, so I wouldn't be able to choose between them. I really like Toad... there's something very cool about him. Maybe it's the way he's always running around the Mushroom Kingdom and having fun. And I've always been fond of Toadette. She seems...
If I could be sincere for a second, does anyone have tips for what to do when you're lonely? It's nothing too serious, but it's summer and my good friends are away, so I haven't seen people around my age for a long time... naturally, I'm getting a bit lonely.
Heh, like Villian 11, I'm not a fan of Birdo... she actually isn't much of an established character, really. She switched from evil to good with no explanation, and she doesn't really have any personality. Also, her relationship with Yoshi has never been made clear. And... I think she's kind of...
Seconded. I really like Yoshis, but Birdo is just freaky... they need to invent a new major Yoshi character. A female Yoshi with a different color, or something like that. She could be Yoshi's new partner.
Oh, the snufit ball thing is still going on? I remember that joke from when I was an active MarioWiki member, like, two years ago. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten old yet.
And I'm glad people still remember the Dino-Torches. I'd also like to see them come back in a 3D game, but unfortunately...
Looks like people were talking about the baby characters earlier... I like Baby Mario. And Baby Luigi too, I guess. I mean, Yoshi's Island is one of my top favorite Mario games (seriously, I love it), so how could I not like those two? However, you guys may be right about the other babies. Baby...
Who remembers the Dino Torches from Super Mario World? Those are probably my favorite enemy. Chocolate Island is such an awesome world... Dino Torches had a lot of potential. Nintendo could have used them in other games, and they could have become 3D enemies, RPG enemies, anything... instead...
Hm... out of those four 3D games, I like the two Galaxies the best. I can't decide which one I like more, though... I think I might go with the first Galaxy. That one had more of a classic Mario feel to it, I guess... but it's hard to say, really. I also really like Galaxy 2.
I'm not gonna lie, I really don't like Bowser's Inside Story. I mean, a Mario game that takes place inside someone's stomach? It just doesn't work. The game was way too freaky and weird, and not in a good way. It didn't even feel much like a Mario game... I might even say I was kind of annoyed...
Yeah, I agree that no one needs to make any more Mario and Sonic games. I mean, what's the point? They're two different series, made by two different people, and they don't go together very well. Honestly, I don't really care about Sonic at all. I'm just a Mario fan.
Why, because of the glasses? That can be explained, maybe he got contacts or something... it would just be weird to put glasses on a little sprite like that, I think. And I read on the wiki that the five Toads from Galaxy were promoted to royal guards in the alternate ending of the game... so it...
Daisy strikes me as vain, you know? She thinks she's all beautiful and everything. Honestly, I hate girls like that in real life. Really, the main reason I like Toadette is that she seems really sweet. It's all about personality, you know? xD
I actually think they'd be good characters in an RPG. If Nintendo put them in the next RPG, they wouldn't be pointless at all anymore. (Unfortunately, I don't think they're planning to do that.)
Hm, you're right. That is a cool idea. I actually like Toadette a lot, and Toad's cool too, so I probably would have liked that. It was cool the way they did it too, though. With the yellow and blue toads, I mean... this way, they're developing new characters. It's always good when Nintendo...
Super Paper Mario? It isn't one of my favorite games, but I do like it somewhat. I actually thought it was kind of cool how they combined the RPG and platformer for that game. I mean, the turn-based battle system can get annoying, and platformers as well as RPGs have some cool elements. As for...
I came back from camp a week ago. Now I'll be spending some time at home for a while... I don't have a lot of plans, so it's a bit boring. But later on, I'll be going to California, so that's cool. :)
I miss my old kindergarten through 8th grade school. I went there for nine years, obviously, and it was a great place. Especially in 8th grade, I had a lot of really fun times at that school, and around it. There were a lot of really nice people there, too, and I especially miss them. I've been...
I like Toad. :toad: He seems like a pretty cool guy.
And seriously, you should add Yoshi to the poll. He's a really major character... definitely more important than (cough) Waluigi. You should probably add Donkey Kong too, really.
Ah, Daisy and Waluigi? That's true, it is annoying how they only fill space in spin-offs and never appear in the real mainstream games. I wouldn't say they're useless, exactly... I think Nintendo just doesn't use those characters in the way they could. If there was a Mario RPG or 3-D platformer...
Are you asking me, Villain 11? I don't like Birdo much... I talked about that in the thread "Which Mario character would you kill", or something like that. Rosalina... she's so cold and distant. She never smiles. She's not even that nice to Mario. I do really like Toadette, though.
I'll say Toadette. I've always liked her the best. For one thing, she's not a princess, she's just a regular citizen. I think that makes her more likable, somehow. Princesses can get annoying. Peach is, you know, kind of a bimbo and stuff. And Daisy... she's a little obnoxious, really, and she's...
Paper Mario 2 is my favorite Paper Mario game... in that one, I think Goombella's my favorite character. She always seems so nice, I guess. And when you compare her to the other girl partners from that game, she's probably the most loyal and down-to-earth one.
Hm... maybe Birdo. Four reasons: she's kind of freaky, she keeps switching between good and evil, her relationship with Yoshi was never made clear, and she has no purpose. I get the feeling Nintendo is only keeping Birdo because she's Yoshi's partner, but why Birdo? They already have enough pink...
My favorite is Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, without a doubt. I love that game so much-- it's definitely one of my favorite Mario games out there. I remember when I first played it on the Gameboy Advance, and I thought it was so cool. There's something about that game... I don't know if I can...
A thread for Mario game ideas? That's cool. I've always thought that a "Super Mario World DS" type-game would be awesome. You know, it would take place in Dinosaur Land, it would have the enemies from Super Mario World, that stuff. I loved the old SMW-- it was the first Mario game I owned-- but...
Hey, I'm CrystalWizard. I used to go on the wiki by the name of CrystalYoshi, if anyone remembers. I'm in high school. I'm in high school, and some people think I'm "too old" for Mario and stuff, but heck, I really like it. So I figured I'd look at this forum a bit. If you're interested, my...
