I can't imagine the Bowser or Donkey Kong Skylanders would give you a different costume than their Super Mario or Super Smash Bros. figures. The same for Mega Man Gold Edition.
Most of them that you listed, however, are compatible in that they unlock the amiibo Yoshi design...
Okay, this took much longer than it should have, but it's finally done. The references probably need revising, but other than that all the articles have been created.
I assume it was my moving the page back after it was moved by that one guy that messed with the settings.
Regardless, the protection is now back in place.
In adding to and making revisions to the Super Smash Bros. pre-release articles, I've used Source as a source quite a few times, mostly on the Smash for 3DS / Wii U article (List of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U pre-release and unused content), though I also have a revision of...
Should have said something way earlier, but since I have the game and know what all of these things are and how they work, I can probably get through all these no problem.
Re: Mario Kart 8
I was wondering this too, and as it turns out one side of his hair comes down over his forehead a bit, which can more clearly be seen in art like this:
I was saying that an alternate costume in Super Smash Bros. is based on a fake Bowser, not saying that Bowser's original artwork is supposed to be that.
Really, it's just seems ridiculous to refer to what is, as I said before, a platform with a particular design in a cartoon video game, as a species. In the end, it's nothing more than a platform. In some levels there are certain mushroom-designed platforms that have a particular gimmick to them...
This is really the only thing I don't entirely agree with. Mushrooms may be a species, but it just feels ridiculous and dumb to refer to a platform in a cartoon video game as a species.
25 is a lot as it is but there's definitely more than that. Of course, I'm also referring to more than just games, and with the way Mario Party DS goes it doesn't seem like they were really captured since Bowser threw them all out a minute later.
Which is now convincing me to actually attempt this.
Well as this game's flagpole all he does is pace back and forth until you get to him. The game's story says he's gone missing or something, so I guess I interpreted that as Wario's doing.
Since I felt like doing this, a kidnap and capture count for all relevant characters based on what I can find. If I missed anything then correct me.
Mario: 9 (Mario is Missing, Luigi's Mansion/Dark Moon, Super Princess Peach, Mario 64 DS, technically Super Mario Adventures and a couple of (The...
Okay, now that I've read the comic again, this kinda makes a little more sense (I assumed that the monsters just materialized into the room when she magicked her costume on instead of being a group of characters implied by the comic to already exist...)
In other words: I didn't really pay...
Aren't those connections based on where the character appears in the game, though? I'm not against using common sense and putting two and two together to say "this is supposed to be this", but I feel like connecting a name from a game to a more than likely unrelated comic is even more of a...
I should have asked this earlier, but what exactly proves that the monsters in the comic and the unseen background singers are the same other than fan interpretation?
So something else about this game has finally been confirmed: amiibo support.
It seems to be limited to just the Mario-based figures, and apparently they unlock cards that can be used in battle.
Also box art and a December 3 release date for Japan.
