Hey gang! I just want to say that I love the little icons for the controller buttons that are on the Wiki. I'm using them for these HTML-based text dumps I'm doing for the Paper Mario series.
That being said, I have a couple requests for icons if someone wouldn't mind helping me out? I was...
Yeah, these days I feel like I'm the only one who still likes the Koopalings. ;)
I think it's because I'm an older person and still remember playing SMB3 as a child (when it was new!) and how groundbreaking and cool at the time the notion of seven Koopa kids was--even if their boss battles in...
Thanks, both of you!
Yeah, the more and more I looked at it, the more inaccurate the NoA website was looking on the amiibo compatibility thing (you really think someone on that staff would've corrected those mistakes by now).
Out of curiosity, where can one look to see which version of a game...
Hey folks! It's been a while since I've been here.
So I wrote a guide for GameFAQs on Yoshi's Woolly World, which I'm currently in the process of updating. A bunch more amiibo have come out since I first wrote my guide, and according to this official Nintendo compatibility chart, most of them...
1. Super Mario Galaxy 2
2. Super Mario Galaxy
3. Super Mario 3D World
4. Super Mario Sunshine
5. Super Mario 64
6. Super Mario 3D Land
The Galaxy games are in a virtual tie for me. While the first game has better presentation, characterization, and story, Galaxy 2 just edges it by virtue of...
Re: What amiibos do you own?
For right now he is, because he's a new release. In the coming weeks and months, though, he'll become more rare than even Shulk and Rosalina.
Re: What amiibos do you own?
Amiibos I currently have:
- Mario
- Bowser
- Donkey Kong
- Yoshi
- Link
- Zelda
- Samus
- Mega Man
Amiibo wish list:
1. Shulk
2. Rosalina
3. Luigi
4. Peach
5. PAC-MAN
6. Diddy Kong
7. Pit
(Also Ganondorf, Bowser Jr., Palutena, and Dr. Mario, even though they...
^ In which case, it's surprising there aren't more entries from the movie in this thread, since it's the epitome of Mario ugliness. :P
Not gonna lie, that is one effed up Bowser right there.
The ugliness comes from their lack of Goomba-liness. (Goombas are beautiful creatures after all.)
More movie fun. Princess Daisy wasn't born--she was hatched.
Or heck, a package deal with all the Paper Mario games in one disc for Wii U. I'd be all over that!
Thanks Mr. Janitor!
It doesn't need a graphical update per se (no more than did The Wind Waker), but those crisp, colorful visuals in HD would be a luscious sight to see.
As for PM 64, to be...
Re: Top 9 Mario RPG's
The Xenoblade bit was purely anecdotal. :P (Superstar Saga and Xenoblade Chronicles will forever be inextricably linked in my mind because of my experience with them, even though they have virtually nothing in common in terms of tone, mechanics, etc.)
And yeah, I've only...
Super Mario 64 is a vastly overrated game that is neither as good as the 2D platformers that preceded it (e.g. SMB3, SMW) nor the 3D platformers that came after (e.g. SMS, SMG, SM3DW). Its only redeeming quality was introducing 3D gameplay into the mainstream, and that's about it.
Hi, I discovered this board through GameXplain. :) (I've actually been looking for a relatively active Mario forum for a while, so it works out.)
Back on topic, I would much prefer it if Nintendo released a 3D remake of the original Paper Mario on 3DS and saved The Thousand-Year Door for an HD...
Re: Top 9 Mario RPG's
In terms of how good I think they actually are:
1. The Thousand-Year Door
2. Paper Mario
3. Super Mario RPG
4. Superstar Saga
5. Super Paper Mario
6. Sticker Star
In terms of personal preference:
1. Super Mario RPG
2. The Thousand-Year Door
3. Paper Mario
4. Super Paper...
