The No Limits parade has been updated at Universal Studios Japan for the summer (best view around fifteen minutes in):
Also if you like Pokémon there are some cool new water type puppets in the parade too (follows the Mario float).
Found at a community centre, no idea what game is on this confused thing.
Also a bonus from a maze I went to a few years back where you find the answers in the maze (had a video game theme). Good job on question 3.
Can I sign up please? Just putting in a quick post now, I'll add some more specifics later but I'd like to use the highlighter yellow (#E5FF00) again please. Can my object be a sewing machine?
I think I'd echo the sentiment of Pauline getting a plush, but I think it'd be really cool to get sports outfit variant plushes too- I initially was thinking of Peach and Daisy, but it could work for a lot more characters with more recent sports games.
How about a Fog Imposter? They come from Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games for 3DS and are really competitive, so good for the theme, and have several interesting abilities, like being able to disappear into and appear from fog and can pass through things like gates, and potentially...
Hi, nice to see you here too! :) To be completely honest, I'm not very good with forum stuff in general, it's probably better off you asking someone else. I went through a lot of trouble just trying to get mine to work. :P
OK, and here's the last few pieces of user art for now- Gamefreak75, Tucayo, and updated designs for LeftyGreenMario and Mija:
And you'll have to wait a little longer for that other project I've promised, as it'll take a little longer to do- should be coming fairly shortly though. :)
No...
What a surprise, it's another overdue update to my art thread :P
Anyway, with this being so overdue, there's a lot to cover! First of all, I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for me in the community awards- especially for favourite artist and second place in favourite 2021...
Just thought I'd throw in a quick update as I made some art for the community gallery in the 'Shroom, I'm sure plenty of you have seen it already, but if not, go and check out this month's issue of the 'Shroom in general, and here is the art in question anyway.
And while I'm here, here's just...
Alright then, I think that's a suitably long amount of time since I last remembered to post art here. :P Here's some long overdue stuff for Blitz, Mija and Bob Craples.
Sorry, I thought I had already replied to this. I'd been checking the errors as you'd been going along, and yeah, your corrections are all fine, looks like it was just an error copying on my behalf. Thanks for all of your help! :)
I saw you getting started on that this morning, thank you very much! I've gone over everything you've brought up here (and I checked the fun facts as well in case I'd slipped up there), and I've cleared up the mistakes on Synchronised Swimming (Team) and The Secret of the Fog as well as removing...
Well, several months later, here's the one of Chroma Key that Long John Spaghetti asked for. Sorry it's been quite so delayed, unfortunately you managed to ask at the same time as a bunch of other stuff came up and I've only recently been able to clear up most of the backlog.
Also, here's a few...
Thanks for the help- that was a really quick check you did! So I've taken a look, Archery (Team), Badminton (Doubles) and Tennis (Singles) were mistakes on my part copying from my spreadsheet, and Beach Volleyball, A Rainbow In Fog, To the Ruins!, The Life of a Minion and The Secret of the Fog...
Just a really quick update here, as I didn't really get up to much over December as expected, and I'm having to put off Sochi article creation again for now. But I have made some new progress, as I've now cleaned up and rolled out most of the category stuff, and the other day I was thinking...
Can I sign up please?
I don't have steam or anything like that so I'd prefer some artwork or something along those lines, and my main interests are Mario (duh, but specifically the main female characters) and classic Disney stuff.
So, in case anyone hasn't noticed, a bit more stuff has recently been announced/revealed- mainly some looks inside Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, but there's a couple of shots and videos of the land itself too. Here's a couple of videos and a Tweet I saw about it:
I really do need to get better at remembering to update this thread... as, once again, stuff is happening! So since I last updated this, we've had some big steps forward on a couple of fronts. Firstly, 2012 3DS is almost entirely finished now! The main article has been completely rewritten...
*Bump*
Just thought it might be worth updating this thread, as quite a lot's going on with this at the moment (Plus last night I found some pictures that I hadn't seen of it before- they're almost two months old but I spotted a bunch of characters I hadn't spotted yet).
It looks like the area...
Actually, these profile posts are a more recent addition, only being added in July of last year. But no, I've never really had anything worthwhile along those lines that I've wanted to say, and I don't really want to post for the sake of posting.
Hey, that's the stretching Mario artwork I've been looking for! I don't know if it's the original source, but it's used as Mario's artwork on the character select screen for the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Hopefully at least one, yes. I think it's mainly going to depend on if I can get hold of the images I need for it, but that is a longer term goal for me.
OK, so I've got something a little different to bring up in a minute, but as this is a new post I'll start with some other updates. Article creation for 2010 Wii has been resumed and should hopefully be able to pick up the speed a bit soon, character articles (aside from decisions on Cheese and...
Here' the last bunch (for now, of course, if anyone stumbles across this later and would be interested, just let me know and I'll see what I can do :) ), we've got MrConcreteDonkey, Super-Yoshi, Long John Spaghetti, Shokora, Epic Nitwit and myself.
I haven't updated this for a while, and there's a couple of things I'd like to update the progress on and a few things I might need some help with that I'd like to bring up. At the moment, I'm currently working through all of the characters that appear in 2012 3DS to update their articles with...
I came across another fun find in a Mario & Sonic today, the series frequently references older games, but I was pretty surprised when a reference to Super Princess Peach came up. In the 2012 Wii game, one of the London Party minigames is the Heroine Quiz, and within that one of the questions...
Yeah, I know that the item Piranha Plant can eat Bloopers, but what I was referring to with the stars was the Piranha Plants that appear as obstacles on the tracks- I noticed it specifically with the ones on Sweet Sweet Canyon. I kind of forgot about the item when I was writing that. :P Still, I...
I actually didn't know that Piranha Plants could even be hit by Boomerang or Bob-ombs, I was just noting the stars and the fact that to my knowledge Lightning was the only way to stun them. I suppose that's something else I didn't notice before. :P
So I managed to find what seems to be a bit of a glitch in the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games the other day. The Dream Snowboard Cross event takes place on Radical Highway, and in certain places on the track you can grind along the support cables for the bridge to get a...
Slightly bigger update than I was initially intending this time, but here we have Koops, Roserade, Power Flotzo, BabyLuigiOnFire, LeftyGreenMario and Luigi 64DD:
I'd be happy to do one for you, but if I were to do so it wouldn't be immediately, I'd put you on the end of the list as I'd like to get through all of the people who signed up for my awards presentation first. I would need a little more to go on than that though, a lot of that is relatively...
Here's the next batch, this time we've got Goombuigi, Fawfulthegreat64, Lakituthequick and MiracleDinner:
That's fine, I'll do one for LeftyGreenMario when I get down to you. :)
Welcome back to the only time of year I actually regularly remember to update this thread! First up, here's my awards presentation for this year. I'm glad you all liked it, and thank you very much for the positive feedback on it!
I don't think I have anything much particularly special to say...
