Super Monkey Ball
I'm a little inconsistent so I keep dying around the 20-40 levels. I got infinite continues but... that feels like cheating.
Farthest I've gotten is stage 43 if i recall correctly, so I'm hoping I can try and go from there using 5 or less continues. My controller also keeps...
It wasn't supposed to be a big 3D Mario game which I guess is understandable, takes a lot more time, maybe even more than when the Wii U would still be relevant. Plus the multiplayer is still pretty fun, which I imagine is what it wanted to aim for, couch co op (I still kinda wish it had...
If you do get a 3DS you should also check out the modding scene. They got tons of stuff like custom themes, save file editing, and other stuff like that.
Also has Planet Robobot so you know that's a good deal.
I could not get into Spirits mode, just wasn't my thing. I also rushed World of Light into 3 days so Spirits did probably leave a bad taste in my mouth.
At least I got to change the menu music. Plus I typically don't dabble much in singleplayer anyways.
Amazing
Pretty good
Alright
Kirby Star Allies
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Absolute favorite Switch game, although that could be because I'm a complete tryhard at Smash. Gave me tons of good friends too and made up some of my personality, so I do kinda have an emotional tie to it.
Super Mario...
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
My brother's getting tired of Falcon being garbage. Also practiced a bunch of Ridley so I can hopefully at least consistently get good results in online tourneys (discord, ingame tourneys don't really do it for me).
I just got the game and right now it's pretty fun. Didn't play some brutally hard courses but I mainly got this to play with some friends later on.
(I hope later on is soon because it has almost been a month and there's still no option to play with your friends, cmon nintendo)
Seeing Nintendo just make two fanbases happy really gives me high hopes. I'm glad both of them are getting in, but I will admit I did actually yell with Banjo.
I don't know if this opinion is necessarily unpopular but I hope Olimar gets nerfed or at the very least everyone in the cast gets buffed in hopes that dealing with Olimar is easier because dealing with that little dude is annoying as hell.
Tier lists get more accurate as the game gets older and older. As Melee is more than 10 years old the tier list is super accurate and really only the top 10 are actually competitively viable (and you really only see 6 of those characters actually used). Although I think it should really be named...
Tetris (that web version)
I've been obsessed with Tetris 99 but I figured I needed to feel accomplished so I played regular Tetris. I usually get around 100000 pts but I swear I could do better since I'm using this keyboard. My fingers start getting tired compared in Tetris 99 where the sweet...
please just be Kirby Air Ride 2 please just be Kirby Air Ride 2
I hope if it's a mainline Kirby game with multiplayer that they take it the RtDL approach, just kinda slap it on there. Granted it wasn't very fleshed out in RtDL but it was fun where as Star Allies has this "teamwork" mechanic...
I don't know if this is necessarily unpopular but I really wish they didn't lock changing the menu music to beating a 20 hour fight simulator. Granted that's what Smash is all about but it's just soooooooo tiring for me.
I also wish the menu music could be changed to anything besides the Smash...
It looks like something that's good if you didn't pick it up on Wii U.
Unfortunately, I did pick it up on Wii U and I don't feel the need to play this again really. Nothing too special besides Toadette and some other features.
At least Blue Toad's back I guess
Still sad Home Run Contest is gone, playing that with my friends was always so funny (flashback to a time where I had the sandbag at a super high percent and I made it go backwards).
I do kind of understand though. You'd see tons of high scores but most of them would probably just be Ridley.
To be fair it does make the most sense in terms of unlockables.
Would it feel better to give you a character? No, you'd have to put in so much work to just get one more exclusive WoL character.
What about a stage? Nope, a stage would feel useless. You would have to put in too much effort.
A...
Emulating Gamecube games might be too much for the Switch in my opinion, but if they pulled it off I'd be glad.
Although I'd imagine Sunshine would be kind of hard to play due to its use of analog triggers. I suppose since the Gamecube doesn't have a ZL button they can use that button for...
