So Alex95 went through all the trouble of DM'ing me through WiKirby Discord to log back in and vote Super Arrow...so I guess I feel morally obliged to do so.
Vote: Super Arrow
ok bye i'll be watching for the winner
So...I've been considering this for a while, probably about two months, but I never could bring myself to do it. Now I'm doing it, full disclosure.
I'm leaving the boards. I don't know for how long, but it'll probably be a pretty long time. When I first joined, I was overjoyed to finally be...
Part Time UFO was a mobile exclusive up until about last week, but it's still significantly cheaper on mobile and is still pretty darn good.
Besides that...Super Mario Run I guess? It's actually pretty great and considerably better than the other mobile Mario games, and while the price may be a...
Mario Sports Superstars
Felt an urge to boot this game up again, considering I haven't done so in over two years. Apparently I still hadn't completed the Champion's Cup in Soccer or Baseball (I went ahead and completed the latter), although I was only missing about ten or so of the collectible...
Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are the obvious picks (Odyssey too), but I'm also a big fan of the M&L series' soundtracks, particularly Dream Team's. There's also Fortune Street's soundtrack, which has some incredible Mario remixes that aren't talked about much (like that NSMBDS castle theme remix).
Ah...
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
I always felt that my Wii library had a few gaping holes left in it, and this game was certainly one of the biggest. Well, I have this game now, so it's time to jump into something new: Subspace!
I beat the first three stages of The Subspace Emissary on Normal...
Yes, but you could regularly get both Propeller and Penguin via any Toad House in NSMBWii as well. In NSMBU, they're exclusive to those four Toad Houses in Superstar Road and never appeared in a level (at least, I don't think they did). Kinda like the UFO ability in Kirby: Planet Robobot--a...
I remember I was disappointed with how rare Propeller and Penguin Suits were in NSMBU, since they were my absolute favorite power-ups in NSMBWii. At least you can get them from some Toad Houses at the end.
Can't speak for video games as a whole but as far as Nintendo goes? Zelda. Easily.
There are two timeline branches in the Zelda series as a result of the time travel in Ocarina of Time: the Young Link timeline and the Adult Link one. There's also another timeline split in the Adult Link one...
I do hope so but the sales figures of Advance Tour, World Tour and even Sports Superstars are just sad. Maybe they just don't see it as profitable anymore. But then again, there was quite a big gap between Advance Tour and World Tour (9 years), so there might still be one in the pipeline...
Mario Golf: World Tour
Ah, World Tour...the defining experience of my early 3DS days. Haven't played this game at all in over two years, and yet my skills seem to be coming back naturally. I forgot just how many hours I logged into this game. It's every bit as fun now as it was when I first...
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Yes, I still play this game. Still trying to beat Master Core on intensity 8.0 with Kirby. Those Master Edges have been giving me a whole lot of trouble, although I did manage to beat them once (before dying instantly to Master Shadow). I tried equipping Kirby to...
The mission itself isn't so bad. The worst part is actually getting there...and also that troll pipe at the end that has no reason to exist.
I can't defend pachinko game though.
Yeah. Pretty much the only qualm I had with Sticker Star is that it had me going back for a strategy guide more times than pretty much any other game I've played.
I found it very enjoyable outside of that, though.
Kind of an unnecessary change, imo. The internet will be the internet about anything.
I suppose it makes more sense for the meat to disappear after being eaten, though.
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
So I unlocked the Mushroom Kingdom stage at last, and with that, I have unlocked everything in the game. If I had another controller, I could probably enjoy actually using this stuff, but so far it's just there for the sake of completion. I suppose I could try Board the...
Yeah, it's pretty awesome! I heard that they were planning this ten years ago, but scrapped it--cool to see it being brought back. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Unlocked Captain Falcon and Ness. Interestingly, Captain Falcon gave me more trouble--while his unlock requirements are easier, I lost to his Challenger's Approach battle twice before beating him. Triggering the Ness battle took a few tries, but ultimately Kirby pulled...
I'm not the biggest fan of Mario USA, but I also wouldn't mind seeing Mario try that out again. I really need to try that game out again, see if I enjoy it more.
Limited continues can burn in a dumpster fire though.
Limited continues absolutely suck. Thankfully, I've heard the SNES version fixes that and removes the continue limit, but it's baffling why they were even added in the first place. Doki Doki Panic didn't limit your continues...
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Beaten Classic Mode with Kirby, Yoshi, and DK so far. Currently trying to unlock the Mushroom Kingdom stage, meaning I still need to do it as Link, Samus, Fox, Pikachu, and Mario.
Could also try lowering the difficulty to Easy and playing as Kirby again so I can get...
Controller doesn't work with the browser version, so I'm stuck with keyboard. But as much as keyboard sucks as a controller, I'm actually still able to enjoy the game. It surprised me, too.
I played a few matches with my brother, too. It's a little cramped having two players use the same...
I've heard he's pretty great! It's a little weird playing Kirby without the Hammer Flip, but he's still got plenty of good moves at his disposal. And yeah, that D-Air is pretty great.
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
I've had a recent obsession with looking at legacy Smash games and thought I might start from the beginning and see how the series evolved. Smash 64, the game that started it all, is still really great despite its roster being rather small compared to the sequels. It's...
Obviously not on par with the official Smash games, but for a free online fangame it's pretty great.
But honestly? I really only play it for Bandana Waddle Dee. His moveset's pretty great and feels like it could fit in an official game...though since Dedede isn't here for whatever reason, I...
Kirby Battle Royale
A full review will have to wait--maybe I'll post one when I achieve 100%. The story mode's pretty fun and lasts a good long while (not to mention it has one of my favorite finales in the entire series), but there actually isn't a whole lot to keep you hooked after the...
Avoiding his content won't speak for the hundreds of people who have had their experiences ruined by his clickbaity troll thumbnails.
The dislike button exists for a reason.
The hardest 3D Mario at least, with Galaxy 2 close behind. Especially if you're going for 100%, but even reaching the credits can prove a fair challenge.
It doesn't compare to Lost Levels difficulty-wise, though.
