Of course there is, on https://mariocastle.it. It has the least amount of articles of the three independent MarioWiki, but seems to have pretty decent article quality.
The German MarioWiki has already gotten almost 100 new articles since its "relaunch" at the end of January, including three...
Aside from the few broken image links, the össt problems should now be solved, and the wiki is running smoothly and stable.
Today I also translated (only locally, I don't have time to get into Translatewiki stuff right now, due to a big, important examn next week) and installed a WYSIWYG editor...
Okay, so I need to hook up my Ubuntu notebook to the LAN and start shoveling the gigabytes from one server to the other, right? ^^
Aside from that, the wiki is now running pretty nicely, almost all necessary extensions are installed now. Aside from doing several needed updates to templates and...
Yes, of course.
https://mariowiki.net/wiki/Datei:NSMB_Sprite_%3F-Block.png is the file page. The file name on the server got corrupted to https://mariowiki.net/w/images/f/f5/NSMB_Sprite__-Block.png.
Thanks for trying to help me :)
Due to real life stress and a real life movement including several week without internet, I had to delay the wiki's server change, but now it is finally done! :D
The wiki is now on its new server, with updated software and is open for contributions, altough there still are some problems, mostly...
We're already close to moving to the new server!
If you take a look at the wiki in its current state, you can already see that I started developing its new skin, which is based on our forums's design ;) However I'll wait with modifying templates/php files until after the migration to the new...
Hello, I have great news for you :)
I have been quite inactive here and in the English MarioWiki for a while - one reason for that was that I was busy moving the German Mario Board (https://marioforum.net) to a new server and creating a new design for it.
Yesterday our new board went live -...
Altough I'm from Austria and speak German, I often use the English names for the Mario Odyssey worlds, as those are used in Speedrun guides, commentary and forums. Similarly, I prefer the English names and abbreviations in Super Mario 64.
I'm still failing at it despite playing Smash Bros. at tournaments :D
What's the intended way of entering the floating inverted pyramit in Sand Kingdom from the bottom?
The 2D section which has a moon in a secret area is not accessible from the top of the pyramid which can be reached by...
Just noticed a typo in the German version of the game. A moon in the Wooded Kingdom is called "Die Nuss im Roboterlaggerraum" (the nut in the robot storeroom), but the correct spelling would be "Die Nuss im Roboterlagerraum".
I never associated their look with a penis... I mean, there are two wheels which accelerate the hat and one arrow to indicate the direction - and nothing more.
Just got the skeleton costume for Mario. 9999 coins seems to be a lot, but luckily it is relatively easy to grind coins in this game. And Mario as a skeleton looks really funny. Interstingly, he still has his moustache, despite his skin and hear is gone...
Interesting idea - do you mean that they should write even more detailed and longer descriptions for the glitches or use their TAS skills to provide images?
I'm thinking about getting into TAS too to recreate the hardest glitches more easily for screenshots ^^
So that means those amiibos do unlock special outfits? In one of the last trailers they showed the three amiibos' functions in the game, and neither of them was shown to unlock a new outfit...
I don't think that Project 64 is that bad - at least it is the only allowed emulator on Speedrun.com - and it works pretty fine aside from the input lag.
Exactly what MnSG said. And l love that NSMB power up, smacked so many friends with that while they believed the shell to be a Koopa and searched for me without success :D
Btw, Boomerang Bros and Buzzy Beetlees have blue shells too.
I use my Switch Pro Controller connected to my PC via Bluetooth as the controller for Project 64. Because Project 64 doesn't support DirectInput controllers, only Xinput ones, I have to use X360ce to convert the Switch Pro's inputs to Xinput. Usually this works fine, but sometimes I have huge...
Right below the editor window there's the file attachment option ;)
It looks like the ad is the problem'S source, as it is only visible when logged out and appears on the left side of the article's text.
As the others said lives are pretty pointless in a sandbox game like this. When playing soemthing like SM64, it feels like a pure waste of time when the Game Over screen pops up - as it doesn't cost any progress in the game, the only thing I have to do after a Game Over is to re-enter the...
I like having that much mooons to collect. Altough I guess I still will be at the final battle in a few hours, as I already know the game's mechanics and I'm used to Mario 3D games due to having excessively played the other ones, and especially Mario 64 which I'm currently grinding for...
I'm sorry I didn't continue working on the page the last days, but my study is very time-consuming and I had a chess tournament too. I definitely did not forgot, and I will continue to work when I have more time ;)
In the last trailer, a Banzai Bill chases Mario through a lava world, and this bullet bill wears Bowser's top hat - does that mean, Bowser can capture stuff too? Also, in earlier trailers Bowser can be seen throwing his hat in a similar manner as Mario throws Cappy.
Today I continued working on the page. I rewrote the first four sections (and removed the rewrite template as a result), removed unreferenced stuff, re-arranged the glitches in the huge scripting section and added several new ones like chuckya glitches, heave-ho glitches, the impossible coins in...
