Two gripes with it so far tho, the arms and confetti. These both seem like really boring gimmicks that boil down to: stand here, do that, go on with your day.

I like the idea of the timer. It keeps things more intense. Theres also an option to buy more time for players that are a bit slower.

Actually, I kinda like unlocking stuff for myself. I do agree that MK7/8 had some trash unlocking systems, but I don't want a game just handing stuff to me. Interesting idea though, what if there were a shop to buy kart parts/characters with coins or points you collect?
