You can have images on your signature, but like Steve said, no videos are permitted.
 
It's better to be not permitted.
If people keep playing all video's at the same time, and abuse it with Autoplay and such, user's clients will lag.
 
Try all you want, but as far as I'm concerned the tag itself is disabled in signatures.
