YamiHoshi

Nintendo 3DS Developer
The DSHack.org Team and the SysAdmins from the YamiHoshi.nl Team has created our first game.
The temporary name is "Hackyami", which combines YamiHoshi.nl and DSHack.org into one name.
It's a race game, we're doing aside from our untitled project, in order to earn more Game Development knowledge.
The first track is called "Forest Coast", and it's designed by VIS Games, a game development studio, based in Germany.
VIS Games also has loads of awesome Assets for other developers to work with, and they're not expensive.
The Car is designed by Unity's Tutorial Team, which didn't cost us anything at all.

Video

This is the very first game YamiHoshi.nl and DSHack.org have in development.
This game is coming out for Mac, and probably PC.

In case you see the blue thingy in the background, I also wonder what the hell that is, but we need to analyze it first.
Other graphical issues are QuickTime X's fault, so watch this video on low quality only!

Also, testing Monetizing.
Note: The music in the video, is just for development reasons, and is going to be replaced by something that fits it.

Re: Hackyami (working title)

New video, with process included in this article:

Re: Hackyami (working title)

I think the name should be changed to "Hackiyami."

Re: Hackyami (working title)

I think Hackyami should fit better for now, as the "K" and the "Y" slide over each other, making it something like English people use "TH", Dutch people use "NG" (English too), or Polish people use "CZ", or "SZ".

Re: Hackyami (working title)

Update:
We've been working on the issues, as seen in the previous video's.
The entire list of improvements, the todo list, and the video can be found here:
http://www.yamihoshi.nl/tech/?p=4280

For the people blocking their Ads, I'd like you to unblock the Ads on YamiHoshi.nl, because the site itself doesn't have any Ads, but the Hackyami video's have.
We're making money out of these Ads, so we can make a better game out of it.
Also, don't mind clicking them more than once, I already know it'll end bad.

>>Yoshidude99
Of course, but I want to have the features working first.

Re: Hackyami (working title)

The music is just for prototyping, it'll be replaced by some custom music (if I have any).

Re: Hackyami (working title)

This makes me laugh really hard!
Our game is just announced, and pirates now already have a Keygen page for us:
No link to illegal content.

In other news, new screenshots exposed!

Re: Hackyami (working title)

Okay, since the screenshots have hit a couple of websites in the last few days, and info has been send to official news resources, Hackyami is no longer a Fan Creation, and turned into a real game.
So in this case, moved to "Video Games".

Re: Hackyami (working title)

Yes: http://dev.yamihoshi.nl (That's the official news source).
Also, journalists can contact our PR's for official news (right before it gets on the Dev Blog).

Re: Hackyami (working title)

PC and Mac (so a .exe and .app file).
