Can you get your own Smiley?

I've been wondering. Smasher has claimed as his own, and now other people want their own smiley (including me.) Is it possible for a users to get an official one, or do you just have to be a mod like to get one?

You need to be Steve (or maybe Stooben) to add smileys. And it's pretty unlikely that he'll just hand out custom smileys to anyone who wants one but who knows?

I doubt he will. Then things would get pretty hectic. It's a shame, though.

To answer the topic question: Technically, yes, you can get your own smiley, either by creation of you or other users, however you can use it only through image hosting sites such as photobucket, because it's not part of the forum.

FTP clearly means Free to Play, as in TF2.
