We used to have Optimum but then we got a deal from Verizon which caused us to get DirecTV. I believe my parents are talking about possibly switching back to Optimum.

GP: I think Time Warner is available nationally, but from what I can tell, people in the south tend to use it more.

I personally prefer DirecTV because of its NFL package.
