Which should I install?

Since I've had yet ANOTHER startup error, I'd like to know which version of Windows 7 would be the best to install.

I've never really found the 64-bit necessary, but useful; I'd go for 32 if it's cheaper, 64 if the prices are the same.

As far as I've been able to tell the difference is in how they utilize RAM. 64-bit is better over a certain threshold, I don't remember exactly what it is, but I think it's like 1 GB.
