No. Birdo isn't Yoshi's girlfriend. They're just partners (like in MKDD), they show no signs of a romantic relationship. Birdo definately isn't a female version of Yoshi. Birdo is a birdo.

And Kamek... he's a guy. There's already Kammy and Kamella, no reason for him to be a female.
