It is. It's an expansion on NSMBWii as they stated
 
I'm wondering if this will be the New Super Mario Bros. Mii game they showed last year... Either way, I hate the idea of including the Miis in a mainstream Mario game as playable characters. It just seems pointless to me. :-\
 
I just create Mii based on TV shows or cartoon and play this Mii in games. I know that you can play as Mario and Luigi or Mii
 
I hate how Miis are infesting Mario games.
 
I'm looking forward to what else is in store for this potential new Super Mario title.
 
I'm not excited for this game, to put it bluntly. I couldn't care less about it.
 
It’s a common plan, so I’m not surprised.
I care more for Wario Land or DK Country since they weren’t in DS or 3DS recently, in order NSMBWiiU shouldn't be the game announced now.

Only if you're forced to play as Miis instead of Mario bros. :P

I support that we can have Miis playable in most spinoffs (whether they are Mario series or other brands), that's the value of avatars. But in main games, the staff have to debug the formula and replace the generic players for Toad and Toadette before making Mii bros.
 
Doesn't sound that promissing, considering I was never big on NSMBwii, yeah. :/
 
It's not like you HAVE to use the Miis to play the game. If you don't like them, you can just stick with Mario, Luigi, and the two Toads.
 
Hmm, I wonder if we're going to get a completely brand new game that no one has seen before. If it is New Super Mario Bros. Mii, though, it had better be as good as or better than NSMBW.

I think LGM is more concerned that every time she reaches for the game, the first thing she sees is a hideous Mii staring at her in the boxart

Because that's how I personally feel
 
Most people would want Waluigi and Wario together. Somehow, Nintendo doesn't seem to listen.
 
I would like that idea, honestly. It's suggested a lot, but I don't see how that makes it less of a good idea.
