What is your favorite animal?

Cats.
 
Eh, I like Blue Tongued Skinks, If you ever heard of one. We has some lady bring us exotic animals to school once, and the blue-tongued skinks are really adorable.

I also like whales.

I also love Slender Lorises (Kind of a joke between some friends, but they are really cute) and I am guessing a lot of people here have never heard of those.
 
Slender loris...isn't that related to the lemur?

Anyway, I love snakes, dogs, and gorillas/chimps.

See, there's the common meaning (definition 2) and the scientific meaning (definition 1). So it was a legit question.
 
Javelin, Cuttlefish are a member of the Kingdom Animalia. And not being able to say moss goes without saying.
 
Crocodiles are my favourite reptile, platypuses are my favourite mammal, puffins are my favourite bird, coelacanth are my favourite fish, and mimic octopuses are my favourite cephalopod.
