Weird Glitch

I'm fighting Kamek in M&L:PiT. Baby Luigi just got knocked out. It's just Mario and Baby Mario. But, I keep getting this notice to press A. Right now, Kamek's not doing anything. very thing's just standing still, but still in there idle movement.

I think you have no choice but to restart from the last save.
 
Let's see if I can explain this. If both Luigis are knocked out, Mario will piggyback Baby Luigi along with Baby Mario. Both babies have to be knocked out if they're being piggybacked before a Game Over. That explains why you get the notice to press A, because you're still not defeated. He's not doing anything because you're in an turn-based battle, and it's your turn. Likely no glitch.
