I wish the 3D Marios would stop having you fight Bowser 3 times. Just once at the end is fine, like in sunshine.

not to mention sunshines final boss arena was hilarious

Even Link nowadays is more expressive and full of emotion than Mario, and Link is the designated silent protagonist.
