Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

What do you guys got against Donkey Kong?
 
He's a giant, hairy, dirty, flea-infested, stupid, oafish, ugly, disgusting, smelly, dumbass gorilla that makes noises like barfing, retching, coughing, those three combined, and just general dumb noises. He also wears a stupid tie and has a vile flesh sprout growing on his head.

I love to hate him in the same way I love to hate Wario, though. It's a sadist thing rather than true hate.

The MvsDK games must do wonders for you then.
 
I'd be totally fine if the next Mario Kart just went full SSB style crossover.

Ride as various Nintendo characters on karts, horses, bikes, warpstars, arwings, gunships, and F-Zero machines. Throw in items and courses from a ton of different games and you got a deal.

Not to me. Smash Kart could be a thing, but I don't want it to replace Mario Kart.

They didn't even get in at the height of their popularity, why would they bother with them after the fact?

no, mario kart should stay mario kart

why not do all games crossovers? why stop at mario kart? yes, let's strip everything unique about mario kart and make it another smash bros. thing

youre lumping two unrelated categories together

if anything pgp shows that things that didnt exist have priority over joe schmo rpg guy

if they wanted fawful in mario kart why didnt they put him in when he was popular

he hasnt made an appearance outside of M&L, he was last seen in 2009, and they killed him off for real

the only reason Nintendo would put him in nowadays would be if they wanted to confuse people
 
I've noticed the best platforming related bosses in this franchise usually involve picking up objects and throwing them at the boss.

This is rather prevalent in the vs Donkey Kong series.

Edit: Basically what I'm saying is Donkey Kong 94 and MvsDK are all underrated and the 2D games could take a few points from em.

probably the first boss I had real trouble with.
 
the tanooki tail was the perfect wario torture item

it was better in battle mode since it can penetrate triple shell barriers
