Starting today and going till Friday, G4 is having a Top 100 Video Games of All Time countdown. Did you watch it?

They revealed 100-81 today. I was surprised that Super Smash Bros. Melee was placed so low, and the fact that Words with Friends made the cut.

Yes, because any FPS at all, regardless of the quality of gameplay or storytelling or any indication of what makes a good game, making the top of the list would cement the fact that FPS is a lost genre.

The only game that probably has a chance of making it onto the list at this point is Fire Emblem (as much as I think Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance was the perfect Fire Emblem game, even though I prefer Radiant Dawn I will admit it has its flaws, especially the difficulty).
 
cool to see Guitar Hero II on the list, that's basically what got me into music. disappointing to see Melee so low, but at least it's on the list. same for SF64.

...but what the hell is Words with Friends?
 
It's a game on the app market that's similiar to scrabble.
My question is what's Double Dribble? It's a stupid title

Wikipedia it. It's a popular basketball game for the NES.

No, you're misunderstanding me, I checked out their videos and I couldn't stand watching them. I don't hate them for the list, I hate them because I hate their work.

I'm being negative because I have negative feeling towards them. I'm allowed to hate and like wha I want right?

I just hate how they do it. I watched and I cringed. I think it was a review of something and it felt like they were nitpicking all the smallest and most stupid things. I just rather a review that covers everything I'm looking for. Like reviews by screwattack, they're fair and they cover all the important stuff that a review needs.
