Cave Story 2?

Do you think that there will ever be a Cave Story 2? I mean think about it, the game was released in 2004 and all we get is remakes. I don't hate the game, (to be honest I think that game deserves a 10/10) but I think it really needs a sequel. What do you think?

Honestly, I don't see the point of making a sequel. It would have to improve on the original somehow, and I don't know what they really could do short of letting you play as Balrog (FUND IT).

For one thing, they ended Cave Story in a way that it'd be very difficult to come up with a sequel continuing on from the originals situation/conflict.

Also, Cave Story is a perfect game, in my opinion. I honestly don't want the risk of that reputation dying because of a sequel.
