A lot of times when I'm on here, open another tab and browse, then come back here, the screen becomes a series of green and red squares. It sometimes goes away if I refresh, but not always. Is it the website or chrome that's the problem?

If I read that, it's most likely your Computer (Graphics Card, to be exact).
Try the same thing in a different Browser, like Firefox, Safari, IE, etc.?
Does this happen too?
