trying something out: once during the game you can "protect" a character which will prevent them from being KOed until half are left (there are 34 characters, so that means the protection will wear off when there are only 17). Just place a * by the character you would like to protect and bold them. However, you will give up your KO for that turn in doing so. You can also revive one character, but each person can only do one of these.
