Don't know where you're getting that from.

It's common knowledge that a dead topic is defined by it not being posted in for over 120 days. That's why a warning comes up when you're about to post in a dead thread. It's fine to bump old topics if you know there is actually a topic to get back to. That'll just get the conversation up and running again.

End of discussion, we're off topic in an Official thread.

if no one wants to discuss dreams, then let it stay dead

if someone does, just check and see if there's already a thread for it, and bump it if it's not over a year old
