Conquer Club is an online version of Risk, you could say (similar to Diplomacy too, but more closely to Risk).

I haven't gotten to try it out yet, but I need one more person in my game, so feel free to join and sign up.

Huh. It is very similar to Risk.

Makes the learning curve a lot less sharp than Diplomacy.

Yeah that's what I thought too.

If more people make accounts, we can make an 8 person game with everybody.
 
Just checked out some of the maps. There are a lot of cool ones! Some of them are really random too (US Senate? That's awesome.)
 
I dunno, I don't know much about risk and it involves more strategy than Diplomacy, I think.
