Lava Bubble move

Well I tried to use an alternative way to move the page but my edits were reverted by Shoey. I don't see a problem in this at all.

If you guys agree with Shoey, can an admin do it instead.

it's policy you need to create a move log in order to move pages I know this because I've been told that exact thing before and you will not do things improperly just because you are to impatient to wait for an admin to delete the lava bubble redirect

I don't see a problem in this at all.

It's better to delete the redirect and move the page as doing otherwise will result in a loss of the edit history - well actually, the Lava Bubble/Podoboo case was going to result in a loss of history no matter, but it's better to preserve the one of the page that's being moved.

Surely though, you could've explained why it's done that way, thus preventing the edit war from escalating.
