When was the first time you ventured into the wiki

Celestial Guide
My first time was like back in 2009 where I was looking at the TYYD article on Wikipeadia and found a link to Mario Wiki, clicked it and found much more detailed version.

I first thought this please was a game guide center for Mario but not for very long.

Two years ago I was doing a report on Super Mario World at school(don't ask me why), and we searched Super Mario World on Google. Super Mario Wiki showed up, so we went there. I thought the Wiki was cool so I ventured more into the foreign land.

And that's how I found the Wiki.

I needed help on the Headless Snowman level in SM64 so I clicked and read the trivia but left because I didn't get my answer. A year later I came back for some reason

I think my first time I followed a link to the wiki was around mid-2011. I was looking for a list of collectibles in Mario Party DS. I found the exact article I was looking for, and I decided to create an account a few months later.

The first time I came across the wiki was when I couldn't find one of the DK coins in DKC2, so I did a Google search for it, and the wiki was the top result.

I believe it was mid July or August of 2010 when I stumbled across the wiki while looking for stuff related to WarioWare D.I.Y.

I was bored so I decided to look up Mario characters, and found the wiki, I created an account a few weeks later, then left a month later, came back a year later, left a few days after that, came back the next month, found the boards, then left the wiki again.

Now I'm mostly just active here, and not the wiki.

I was researching the Bestiary for Paper Mario TTYD when I first found out about it. I was trying to make a list of all of the enemies that appeared in TTYD. I never finished it either. This was probably in 2006 or 2007. I didn't sign up until 2011 though, when I found it again.

In 2008 I was searching for SM64DS information and found the wiki's page on it.

I was looking at Mario on Wikipedia and i saw a link and i clicked it then i signed up.

Back in 2008. I can't remember the exact way I found the wiki, but I do remember printing out tons of articles back in '08 and putting them in a binder, so I had a neat little binder of Mario information. I remember it reached over 200 pages.

I was lurking around WAY before I joined in September 2009, before Featured Images were there, and before the outdated poll thing. I think I was there before Mario Kart Wii even came out. Heck, I was there when there were creative header titles (such as in Wario's article: Villain, Now Hero in the Wario Land section). I was a little too shy to join the wiki at any given time I was lurking, nor did I have any interest in editing the articles. Then, the Featured Images on the front page caught my attention (especially with that awesome size chart that was featured), and I decided to look for myself. I couldn't resist the urge to vote, and so I had to join, just to vote on the Featured Images. Lookie where I am now.

I knew I was on the site for a VERY long time before I came on because BiS was just being talked about, there was a Mario Calendar on the Main Page that I loved but removed it before I joined. After I got a real e-mail account, I finally made my account so that I could help post information about BiS. And man did I post information about BiS. I wonder if I still hold the third most contributes to the article page...oh, don't even get me started on trying to feature that article...

Back in 2008, after I got Super Mario Galaxy for Christmas, I needed to look up some stuff about it, so I jumped on to Google, then eventually found the wiki. I didn't create an account for another three years though.

'Twas a deathly hot, violent, stormy evening in the summer of 2010, methinks. Illuminated by frequent streaks of lightning rippling through the tar-black clouds and sulfur-rich air above, the streets were clogged with the electronic refuse of legions of sweating, game-starved men, women, and children. We could not safely venture outward into the world without throwing ourselves at the mercy of the elements which threatened to tear us asunder, and so we huddled in our homes next to our broken televisions and disintegrating books, desperate for any kind of entertainment. I know not how I came upon the idea, but I dusted off my laptop and ventured onto the Internet, hoping that my laptop's quickly dying battery would not give out before I found relief and release. I Googled Super Mario Galaxy 2, having just finished it, and just happened to find its corresponding article on the wiki. It was then that I realized I was saved, that the suffering of that summer was at an end. 'Twas glorious.

My story probably isn't as glorious as M4E's, I just recall my brothers and I being curious about Mario sometime in late 2006-early 2007, and then we happened upon a link to the Mariowiki via Wikipedia if I remember correctly.
