What were your childhood games?

What were your childhood games? You know, games you played when you were 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or whatever age and played all the time (and hopefully still love today)

My childhood games are:

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage

Obviously my favorite. Still remember when I got this and having my mom beat orb challenges that I sucked at (like the trolley one, but I'm good at it now :P)

Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon

For when I got bored of Ripto's Rage

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped

My crash game. Ended up getting 1 and 2 actually just a year ago.

Crash Team Racing

I LOVE this game. Still would rather play this over any Mario Kart game.

Never got into Nintendo until later. Really wish I had more of a childhood experience of awesome 64 games though. Beating them now on Virtual Console or in remakes isn't the same. Still wouldn't trade for my old pals Naughty Dog and Insomniac Games though........

Mega Man (number/X here)

Also stuff like Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island, Killer Instinct, F-Zero X, Kirby SuperStar, Darkwing Duck, Adventure Island, and so on.

My first games were SNES games. To be more specific, Super Mario All-Stars, Donkey Kong Country, Super Punch-Out!!, and Mega Man X.

Mostly N64 games, such as Pokemon Snap, Mario Party, and Banjo-Tooie.

Quite a few N64 games. Namely Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros, etc. Early Gamecube as well. (Super Mario Sunshine, Melee, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, etc.)

Well, I'm still a child, but the first video games I had were for NES. (i.e., Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros., etc.)

Well I had N64 first and that was when I was 3-4-5 yrs old.
Mario kart 64, super mario 64, Yoshi's story, and Mario tennis.

Then it was the GameCube, 5-6-7-8 up to the present
A lot of games

My childhood games were the Game Boy Advance titles, like Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Wario Land 4, Pokemon Emerald and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red.

megaman x1-5, paper mario, final fantasy 4 and 5. super metroid, lttp, lozOoA, super mario land 2, super mario bros 3, sm64, star fox, final fight 1-3, spider-man maximum carnage, contra nes games, spawn snes, doom, unreal tournament, secret of mana, nba jam, extreme-g 1-3, kirby super star...

and probably a lot more.

first game I ever played was Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Master System. Played Alex Kidd a fair bit, as well. Pokemon Yellow and Spyro were big ones for me when I stopped leeching off my sister's old consoles.

Rayman
Crash Bandicoot
Crash Bandicoot 2
Crash Bandicoot 3
Crash Team Racing
Crash Bash
Mickey Wild Adventure

I love my PS1 games.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Advance: Super Mario Bros. 2, Rayman 3, Mario Party 3, and probably some other games I'm forgetting about. All of the ones I've listed carry huge nostalgia value.

Everyone's talking about having NES and SNES games, and I'm just sitting here, feeling really young. On topic, Spiderman for the PC, Blinx 2, a bunch of Game Boy Advance games, a bunch of DS games...

Don't worry, not everyone's childhood games were NES and SNES games. Like I said, my childhood games were for the GameCube.

I've never played the actual NES or SNES, only on VC, and I never played Gamecube until like 2 years ago.

Same. I didn't even own a GameCube. The YMCA had a room to play video games. The first console I ever owned was Wii that I got either in 2009 or 2010.

I just got into games recently so mine were New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, New Super Mario Bros., and Bowser's Inside story lol

I was born in 1998, and I don't have N64, so mine were mainly GC games. However, we did own a PS2 and a SNES.

Mine were:
Super Mario World (Reason I love Yoshi and got into the Mario series <3333)

Kirby's Dreamland 3 (Reason I got into Kirby series and I still remember how much hell that Cloudy Park level caused where you need to bring Rick to the finish)

Mario Party 6 (TOO MANY DETAILS to get into as to why it's one of my favorite games ever XD)

Paper Mario: TTYD (I remember having like 50 HP/50 FP... Now I ace through every boss LOL)

For PS2, I remember playing

Crash Bash (never completed that game actually lol)

Jak & Daxter: Precursor Legacy

ATV: Offroad Fury 2

Way too much nostalgia with those games! ^__^
