Super Mario 64 VC problem

So, just a while ago, I moved the Super Mario 64 channel from my Wii memory to the SD card memory, because it takes up nearly 100 blocks of memory and I'm running a bit low. I also took the save data in Data Management and moved that to the SD card as well. When I booted it up from my SD card, my save disappeared, so then I moved the channel back to the Wii memory, but now my save is still not showing up. For some odd reason, there's now SM64 data on both my SD card and my Wii memory; when I moved the data completely to the SD card at first. Should I delete the Wii save data and move the SD card data back to the Wii memory?
 
The Wii allows only one save file at a time, you have to delete the one in the Wii memory
