Ideas for Xbox Mascot Fighter?

Donkey Kong
Both Nintendo and Sony have mascot fighters, and both are really good games. What about Microsoft? Should they join in? What do you think?

I'm split on the decision. What major franchises do they own besides Halo and Gears of War? I guess Banjo could be a third-party character, but what else?
 
Banjo would be second party, not third.

If Sony gets to use that cat thing, then Microsoft gets to use Nanami Madobe.

I don't know, honestly. Who would be the playable characters? How many iconic characters from Microsoft's games can you list? I haven't played much from them so I wouldn't know.

Strictly speaking, it is simply Master Chief, but Xbox does have quite a few titles and characters that they can use, enough to fill up a decent-sized roster. It's just that Halo tends to overshadow a lot of them due to its immense popularity.

Well, Mass Effect was originally Xbox exclusive iirc, so I guess that's... slightly plausible? Maybe they could try Steve from Minecraft.

If anything they need to try building up a better line-up of exclusives.
