Big Brother 15

It's time to start speculating my fellow Big Brother fans!

Now, so far, not much has been revealed about this season except for a few minor details.

A while back, it was revealed that it would premiere on June 26. They also said that this season will be longer than past seasons (usually starts in July, I believe).

Other little bits of information include the first season to broadcast in high definition, and the grand prize being raised to one million dollars instead of 500,000. (perhaps because of the longer season? maybe more challenging?)

Now I'm hoping that there are more players and that the length involves the twist or something.

I also am PRAYING that it's not an all-star season and that no past contestants return. New players haven't been on since Season 12, and I think it's about time we get some new players in there.

Nothing else has been revealed yet, but I'll update it as we get more information. For now, start speculating!

MAJOR BUMP!

So, 57 days until the premier people. Pretty pumped for it. Anyway, just bumped it so I wouldn't lose it or anything when it begins.

And there better be some awesome twist for this season without returning players.

Don't get your hopes too high up, BMB. Remember, there are thousands of applicants nationwide.

Though that would be really, really cool.

Well we all know that I'm going to be in Big Brother 18, so I don't care about those odds. I will end up on that show, and I will make a fool of myself on live tv because I know that I'll probaby embarrass myself a lot and that I'll end up winning the big half mill because I somehow manage to win a lot of competitions and have a great alliance.

It will happen. It will.

You've certainly been getting a lot of practice.

You have no idea. I dunno why, but my brain is just hot-wired for competitive events or something. When I was at Leadership camp and in my group of 16 people, all I kept on thinking about was if this was Big Brother, who would be the best person to get rid of. I also analyzed everyone's strengths and weaknesses.

We also have these challenges in Band Camp that remind me of Big Brother, and I always get super pumped to do them and I usually win it for my team because of how much effort I put into it.

There is something wrong with me, and that is why I must be on this show.

Big Brother:

A gorup of people, all different in personalties, age, gender, race, and whatnot, enter a house seluded from the outside world. They do not have any eletronics, magazines, or other mediums to view the outside world. They have to survive 10-11 weeks for the chance to win half a million dollars.

Each week, at the start of the week, players will compete for the Head of Household. The person that wins the HoH challenge will become HoH, meaning that they are not only immuned from eviction, but they will be the one to decide who will be nominated for eviction. The HoH cannot compete for HoH the following week, unless a twist occurs.

The following day, players usually compete in a Have or Have Not/Food/Luxury competition to get to decide who will be taking warm or cold showers, eating delicious food or slop/america's pick, and whether they will sleep in cozy beds or in this very harsh room that is different each season that is not at all conformtable. That evening, the HoH will nominate two players that he/she will put up for eviction.

The next day, players will be selected for the Power of Veto competition. The HoH, two nominees, and three people selected randomly will compete in the PoV competition. The winner who holds the PoV will be able to veto one of the HoH's nominees if they want to. If so, the HoH must then select a replacement nominee. If one of the three people randomly selected uses it, then the HoH will not be allowed to nominate them as well.

Once the week is at the end, they will hold the eviction ceremony where 1 by 1 the players go into the Diary Room to cast their votes for who they want to evict. The person with the most votes will be evicted from the house, dropping the number by one. And then the week is over and cycle begins with a HoH competition that same night.

So over the course of 10 weeks, players will be evicted, and the final 7 evictees will become the jury that votes for who they want to win the game between the final 2 players at the end. The player with the most votes win half a million dollars.

So, according to Julie Chen on the talk, this season is supposed to be the biggest season ever, with the most amount of contestants ever (which means at least 16).

Now, I remember them saying something like that for BB14, and than it turned out there were coaches. I hope it doesn't hint at something like that.

It's supposed to last for like 83 days or something like that. They are starting like 2 weeks in advance.

After BB14's rushed agenda, I think they felt that to get more ratings to not have that happen. Seriously, they did an awful job of spacing out the evictions. It was final 10 and then final 4 in three weeks and you're like "huh"?

I'm excited to watch the season though!

but do we really need 20 contestants?

i thought 13~16 worked just fine.
Well my guess is that it has something to do with the twist. I don't think they'd just plop 20 people in for no reason.

TWIST DETAILS REVEALED ALONG WITH NEW HOUSE IMAGES! CHECK THEM OUT!

Apparently there will be three people up for eviction instead of two, and it seems that America will get to vote for the MVP or something like that.

And the house looks awesome. It's so grand.

But what's funny is that this twist is similar to something I was going to do for UBB when I got to host it again.....
