Getting blocked from sending PMs

I was in a lengthy conversation with some other users through PM when I received this error: "You have exceeded the limit of 50 personal messages per hour". I'm not sure if it means sent or received, but either way, it doesn't make sense. Recently, I have sent 17 messages, and I have received 26 messages, so I don't know where it's pulled the 50 from. Why am I getting this error message?

Well, it looks like I can send messages now for whatever reason. Still wanna know what's up with the error message.

EDIT: Aaand scratch that. I got to send one message before getting the error again. Help me.

I had that probem one time,I just waited an hour and it let me send them again.

You may have sent 17 PMs, but the counter counts the number of people who receive them, not the number of PMs you sent.
