My computer can't select text

It was working fine a few weeks ago, but now every time I try to select text with the mouse to copy-paste, it always screws up and reorders the text or deletes it, etc. Anyone know how to fix this? (I don't know if it's a problem with the mouse or the computer.)

I'm pretty sure that's your mouse's fault. You can click and drag selected text to other areas with the mouse, and I'm pretty sure that's the problem is that the clicking is off.

you mean like when you delete something and it goes all screwy

if so, just wait it out, or restart the computer

Try connecting another Mouse, maybe?

I think it's one of the buttons you pressed, can't remember which one though.

Try using shift and arrow keys, though.

It happens everywhere. It just suddenly started occuring one day, I have no idea why. I will make a video recording to show exactly what happens, soon.

I mean, it should work with the Shift+Arrow method Nabber mentioned.
