What is the worst video game music you ever heard?

9-Volt must be my video game counterpart.
Self explanatory. Here are mine.

Mother 1+2
I have to admit, some of the songs in Mother 1+2 are horrible. Nintendo has no excuse for this crap they call "synthesizing the music" or remixes. The music in 9-volt's microgame stages sound better than these songs. Here are just a few of them

The only "name" want to know is what is the "name" of the person who composed this music so I can knock them out Earthbound style. The song is tolerable at first but the song only gets worse at 0:59.

To whom did they give the composition job for this song. It sounds like a bad NES remix but that's even a stretch.

Whoever composed this has been watching way too much Rugrats. It also sounds like a skipping CD if you listen carefully. Did they even listen to this at all?

Yeah Hudson, I know what you mean. You wanted to hire one your rejects to create at least one song for you. This song can be tolerable but to be honest, it sounds like it was composed by a 6 year old but really, I have created better music then this at six years old and I have seen 6 year old kids actually create better music than this.

This may not sound so horrible if you are wearing headphones but listen to it on an actual sega genesis or sonic mega collection.

It wasn't the music itself that was so bad, it was the fact that the soundtrack is 90% recycled is what kills it.
 
It wasn't that it was recycled, it was that the tracks were repeated so much in the game - there was no variety.

Also, I still find the Desert them incredibly annoying.
 
I'm tons happier after I replaced the soundtrack for New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Makes you want to play the game even. The only track I liked was the Fortress and the Lava Overworld theme.

Exactly. I always found some Zelda music to be creepy (Ikana Valley, Shadow Temple, maybe even Forest Temple) and I all think they're good tunes.
 
I don't even get how you can find World 6 creepy
 
I love the Forest Temple theme to death.

I'm not above criticizing my favorite franchises. Behold two of the most droning, repetitive themes ever.
(The Zero Mission remix is awesome, though.)
