Mario Party 10

I don't really want another Mario Party, personally.

Sadly, I've never owned a Mario Party. Want it, but just never got around to getting one. Anyway, MP10 needs some

, definitely.

Mario party 9 was terrible, so unless they return to the old style, I really hope they just don't make another one.

I would like a return to the old style of gameplay. All Mario Parties had a luck factor, but the whole car thing in MP9 made it basically more luck based then before. You can't plan a proper strategy in MP9.

I almost kinda hope Mario Party 10 ends up being like a celebration of Past Mario Parties. That allows you to revisit old boards of the past and maybe even favorite Minigames of the past. I know it sounds like it'd be a bad idea to basically rehash everything. But imagine seeing some of the N64 Boards and Minigames in up-to-date graphics. I can't be the only one thinking a modern Bobsled Run would be pretty awesome.

Keep the fun mini-games in MP9 (but with the old categories like 2vs2 and such), but return the board style we loved before MP9.

Yes. The minigames were good and original, but not the whole board concept itself. It resembled more like a Mario Bros Game more than anything.

I thought Mario Party 9 was the best in the series so 10 should be in the same style.

I really think that MP9 was an okay game, but it's just...mediocre at best. Like, there's nothing of value that makes the game appealing. Even the original mini-games weren't appealing since there weren't many and you hardly played them.

What, Mario Party 9??? I thought there was a lot of games in there.

I really damn hope that no one mistakes that typo abbreviation for something

Mario Party 9 had decent minigames, I'd give them that. Just stray away from Party Mode or any other mode as soon as you get the minigames.

I really wish that Mario Party 10 would be a clash among older hosts. They should really bring back guys such as Tumble, Brighton, Twila, etc. because I found them pretty cool.

I don't even know why I did that. That wasn't even spellcheck either.

Dunno what's wrong with your spellcheck; mine lists MLP as a red underline.

Whatever, you should seriously edit your post before someone like me gets confused

My issue with 9 was it was luck at every corner; dice blocks don't do shit, and then there's fuckery from board events (i.e losing 1/2 mini-stars just from an unlucky dice roll). Also I wish there was more than 1 currency that affects your placing; you work hard to earn those mini-stars, then lose them within a snap of a finger. Why couldn't it just be Stars and coins like usual? -__-

Oh, and why did the roster get smaller? The amount should've increased, and they shouldn't have removed Boo/Blooper/Toadette/Dry Bones/Hammer Bro; I'm fine with Shy Guy & Magikoopa/Kamek but it wasn't necessary to remove the others. If you want to use a Boo on a board, use Pink Boo (like in MP6) or King/Big Boo.

Also, have to agree with BMB; now like everything has a NSMB theme... just come up with original themes, please.

My final complaint; Why are mini-game payouts so close together?! I don't mind if they want to reward 2nd and 3rd a bit, but 5/3/2/1 is way too close. IMO I think it should be like 10/3/1/0 or just 10 for first.
Battle mini-games in MP9 are barely worth more than normal games. 6/4/2/0. Great difference.
Battle mini-games can use a formula like 60%/35%/5%/0 instead IMHO.

The only thing I loved about MP9 were most of it's mini-games (Bowser Jr. Breakdown on the other hand...) and its music.

I actually don't mind the New Super Mario Bros. themes in Mario Party 9. I mean, Waluigi, Daisy, and Wario look so good jumping around in Skyjinks or avoiding spike balls hit their butts. Of course, everything changes when you use characters such as Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Yoshi.

Items often turn the tide of Mario Party games, and Mario Party 9 just totally ditched that concept, replacing it with mediocre dice blocks. If they kept the traditional items, maybe Mario Party 9 won't be as luck based as it is, but items seriously help in games such as Mario Party DS or Mario Party 4.

Agreed that the minigame rewards are ludicrous and ridiculous. They should reward 2nd and 3rd only in battle minigames, not other minigames.

I just loved Mario Party 9, even though a lot of people hated it.

If it was like that, I'd be happy, just make it better and fix the flaws.

And more stuff to do like in Wii Party. There were lots of neat things in that game.

I wouldn't mind if they brought the car mode back, just don't make it so you have like no control. :P

Actually, the car was ridiculous because I felt I was in a team with the other 2. In other Mario Party, you really had the feeling of rivalry.

Also, they shoudn't have removed the items...
