SNES games I need to buy

Hey guys, some of you may remember that I said a while ago I was getting a SNES. Well I've got it and the games I have for it so far are: Sensible Soccer, Starwing, Super Mario land, Mario All stars, Super Mario Kart, Alien 3, Plok, Street Racer, Donkey Kong Country 1. It looks a pretty good collection. Anyone else have any ideas of what games I should get to add to my growing library? Was thinking of Super Metroid but it seems to be rather expensive.

Super Metroid is incredibly worth it, though.

Also get Mega Man X and Kirby SuperStar.

Never played a Mega man game so I might give that a go. With Zelda I have heard it is the best game on the SNES but it seems to be even more expensive than Super Metroid

Super mario RPG(good luck with that one), Donkey kong country 3, Earthworm jim 1 and/or 2, Earthbound(good luck with that one) Tetris Attack, Star fox and many other to keep your eye open for.

Note, some of these games can be up in the 100+ dollar range. If all else fails you can download that on the wii virtual console for eight to ten bucks each.

Another on you should get/play is Chrono Trigger.

Yes, get this. Spend the fifty or sixty bucks, it's worth it.

EarthBound is not in vc, get it and it is worth it

Not yet, but nintendo is working up a deal with the devs to make it available at some point.

Zombies ate my neighbors

Spider-Man and Venom: Separation Anxiety

Super Putty

Zool

Don't take my word for it though.. look them up on youtube and see if you like it or not

I've played Mario RPG only briefly on an emulator and it was very good fun, is it available for European SNES? Thought it was just a Japanese release? So many games that people recommend, it actually shows what a fantastic library the SNES has even 20 years on. Nintendo have struggled in my opinion to replicate a better library for their consoles since.

No it was only released in America and Japan. You can get it on Virtual Console though. or play the whole game on emulator like I did.

You use europe SNES? You can get MOTHER 2 for it instead of EarthBound

Actually, Earthbound was ever released on Europe, so he can't play it, unless he knows fluent Japanese.

On topic, get Super Mario World 1 and 2, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Contra 3, Kirby Super Star, Mega Man X, Star Fox, all three Donkey Kong Country games, Castlevania IV, and, of course, Super Metroid.

What about the N64? It's splendificent, especially with Rareware's gems!

Never really enjoyed the N64 other than Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Super Mario. But at that point in time I was a Playstation fanboy. Was hard not to when you could play Medieval, Gran Turismo, Crash Bandicoot etc etc.

Street Combat, Rex Ronan: Experimental Surgeon and Spider-Man and the X-Men : Arcade's Revenge.
