It's unnamed as of now, but it will take place in the world from A Link to the Past.

I guess they could make 2D games for handhelds and 3D for home's.

Of course Majora's Mask 3D and a Link to the Past 3D dreams have pretty much faded.
 
I have never been this excited for a new zelda game ever. Can't wait for this one.

Gotta say, I'm pretty excited for this. It seems like a mix between ALTTP and the DS Zelda games, and that seems pretty awesome.

Also, now that the official timeline has been released, maybe they'll try to explain how this 3rd timeline works. After all, they said it was set in "the same world" as alltp. That clearly means the same timeline.

They already did. Unless you mean how this game connects or whatnot.

Well, that too. And if they, you know, add references to other "3rd timeline" games within the game to show us that they're connected now.
 
So from videos of this, it seems that Link will have an automatically refilling gauge that is depleted whenever he uses items or powers.
