Rhythm Thief and the Emporer's Treasure has some very great music. However, I think that some of the music is inspired by some of the music in sonic. Let me list a few that I have found.

The fanfare that plays when you clear a puzzle sounds very similar to the fanfare that plays when you clear a level in most sonic games.

This may sound like a stupid comparison at first, but they actually sound like they come from the same genre of music plus, it has the same feeling to it.

These both sound very similar in feel and tone. This is kind of a nobrainer since spagolia in sonic unleased is based off of France and Rhythm Thief takes place in Paris which is in France.

These sound quite similar in genre except for the fact that they have a different mood to them.
Do you get what I mean? Some of the music in Rhythm Thief and the Emporer's Treasure are based on songs from sonic and it seems that most of them are based on songs from sonic unleased which is pretty cool in my opinion. Sonic has a lot of good music and it is cool to see sega parody the music from it.
