9-Volt must be my video game counterpart.
I have basically created this thread since there hasn't been one made on this forum. If you don't know what this is, it is a thing that nintendo is doing to both celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Famicom and give people a sample of the virtual console so they can see what it's like before the actual virtual console launches. They are all 30¢ each but are only available to buy for 30 days. Each one will be available on a certain month. If you miss out on a particular game, you will have to wait until it gets released on the actual virtual console. All of the games you buy during this campaign are on your Wii U system for good. It's a good thing that I was able to at least be able the afford the games during this campaign. My parents couldn't get me a 3DS early so I could be eligible for the 3DS ambassador program because of some odd reason even when the price dropped.

Anyway, because of this campaign, I have been able to experience two franchises I have never gotten into before and a game I have never played before.

Balloon Fight
Balloon Fight is a fun game, but it hasn't aged well compared other NES titles. The graphics and music are a little to stale and boring and could have been more colorful and upbeat. The game is way too brief and will only hold your appeal for a few minutes a day.

F-Zero
This has to be by far one of the most flawless racers I have ever played. I haven't found any problems with the game at all. This shows that nintendo put a lot of effort into this game. The music in this game is just catchy and fits the tone of the game very well. The CPU's have rubber band A.I. just like Super Mario Kart but unlike that game you can do just the same thing that the CPUs do and just suddenly boost to get ahead if you are far behind. The has many factors that will keep you coming back to play it every time. There is nothing I can say that is wrong with this game. It's absolutely flawless.

Punch Out!!
I haven't finished this game yet, but I have to admit, this game is the best boxing game I have ever played. Original characters with weird personalities, funny dialogue between rounds, upbeat music, what could possibly be a flaw in this game. Well, there is one minor one but it doesn't interfere with your enjoyment. The hints that doc luis gives you after each round are a little vague, especially when you get to later levels. This game is a very fun boxing game with memorable characters and catchy music.

Kirby's Adventure
I haven't downloaded this yet but I have played it and finished it on Kirby's Dream Collection for the Wii. It is a good kirby game and it has a very balanced amount of difficulty and catchy music. The only problem I have with the game was that it is a little too long and the boss is a joke. Overall, the game gives you a satifying experience and you should definitely download it if you haven't played it before.

What are your opinions on this Trial Campaign? What are your opinions on the games?

I might just have to buy Super Metroid again, and I just remembered I have codes from the Deluxe Download Program I haven't used, so I'll have money on the eShop when it becomes available.

I really like Metriod. It just gives that experience like non other. I can't wait to play Super Metriod. Yoshi seems a little bit too simple but to be honest, I have played puzzle games that are way to complex so I can't wait to play that. I haven't played donkey kong at all but I know it's a fun game though.

There's actually a play n' trade where I live and they have an NES in its box with everything in it. They also have a SNES outside of its box. Should I get them?

Not really, this topic has to do with the wii u trial campaign which showcases the snes and nes virtual console. I was just asking a question. Do you want me to make a topic on this also?

For only thirty cents a game, you would be crazy not to buy super metroid, kirby's adventure or f-zero if you have'nt already. Definitly going to get donkey kong when it comes out, I mean come on, only thirty cents.
