What are/is your favorite Arcade game(s).

chillv

9-Volt must be my video game counterpart.
Here are the rules, you can only list arcade games that you have played legitimately. You cannot list games you played on an emulator. However, you can list games you have played on a collection or port such as Midway Arcade Classics or the N64 version of Crusin' USA.

Here are mine.

Mario Kart GP
I really like this version of mario kart, it's very creative and it's very enjoyable to play. If you see this anywhere. Pop your quarter(s) in it to play it.

Super Monkey Ball Ticket Blitz
This is a more modern game. I blew little kids' and my parent's minds when I played this game. I got the ticket jackpot on this not once, not twice, but three times. This game is a very creative version of the monkey ball series and you should be able to find it somewhere like Chuck E. Cheese if you want to play.

Dance Dance Revolution
I don't have much to say about this game except that it's a fun rhythm game and takes a lot of practice to master which is a good thing because it will keep you going back to the arcade to keep trying. However, arcades no longer exist so that ruins the whole thing but, it's still fun to play.

Crusin' USA
This racing game is so memorable and give a lot of nostalgia to me. I love to play through this game and drive through the USA.

Crusin' Exotica
I actually played the arcade version this game and it's okay. It isn't really as good as Crusin' USA but it's still a game worth trying.

What are your favorite arcade games?

Fix-It Felix Jr., Hero's Duty, Sugar Rush, and Turbo-Time.

I'd have to say the Mario Kart Arcade GP games.

Thank goodness for Midway Arcade Treasures 2.

Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 just because Yoshi Park 1 is playable in it

I never played it in an arcade, but I have played the Wii compilation: Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair 2, and Space Ace.

Yeah it was on GCN and PS2.
Is it wrong to get it for just one game?
I got it for 5 games, really. Aside from Primal Rage, it has:
- Mortal Kombat 2
- Mortal Kombat 3
- Rampage: World Tour
- N.A.R.C.

and some other things I don't really mess with much. I picked it up new for around $25, so it should be really cheap nowadays.

Mortal Kombat is too gory for me. I might get the cencored SNES version.

No, I just don't like blood and gore like that.

Gonna tell ya now, being arcade-perfect ports, MK2's AI gets ridiculously cheap after about the 5th opponent. What was the point of an arcade machine? To take all your quarters, something MK2 did real well. And lot of the games on there, too. It's impossible to get through N.A.R.C. or Total Carnage on a single continue.

If you wanna try MK, I recommend looking for Deception on the GCN/PS2/Xbox or the reboot on the PS3/360.

Don't, they're games that only got famous because of their gore, as fighting games they're rather bare and clunky and honestly not worth it.

At least two peoples did and they've got a replay to prove it (though you need to be emulator-savvy in order to get it to run).

Galaga, Donkey Kong, Ms. Pac-Man, Centipede

There's a disturbing lack of Galaga love here. I love Galaga.
I like galaga too but it's not my favorite arcade game.
