He resigned from his patroller status, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he's resigned from the entire wiki.

and he had literally just pointed out to me the other day that a bunch of people got demoted this year

If Shoey resigned, he probably had a good reason (i.e. he's probably busy with the dreaded "Real Life") so I would presume he wouldn't be around here as often.

Doesn't mean he's left entirely though.
