Superstar Saga memories

U freak

Munch, Munch!
What are some of your favorite memories from M&L superstar saga.

Wasn't sure if this should go in marioverse, it's a handheld game.

It's a Mario game, and other topics about Mario handheld games go in Marioverse, so...

The most memorable thing was that glitch where Mario flew up in the air when he got bonked in the head in the fountain before he acquired the hammer power-up

I'm not gonna forget the music glitch either.

I want to do these gliches, please explain how you pulled it off or post a link if it's easier.

Check out this page (List of glitches in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga).

My favorite memory was when I first found out that Princess Peach's voice was actually never stolen: it was Birdo's voice instead. This moment was in my mind while playing through the rest of the game. It was such a delicious twist.

I always found it interesting how much planning went into making sure Peach's voice isn't actually stolen when next to no planning is done to make sure Peach herself isn't.

My favorite memories from this game are Popple and Rookie. I always loved their battle theme and I find it funny that Rookie seemingly doesn't have eyebrows. You don't see Bowser like that everyday! :bowser:

One of my favorite locations in the game is chuckoluck woods. I thought the music and the overall feel of the woods was reminicant of the lost woods in A link to the past.

Oh my god, that game had so many lovable moments. I'll have to say the whole game. Every time you rounded a corner there was a memorable moment, be it Mario & Luigi's antics, Fawful's dialogue, Bowletta, Prince Peasley, you name it, that was a golden game and I wish characters from it would appear outside the RPG's.

How long it took me to beat this game, the bosses were always hard especially Cackletta at Woohoo University, the against Fawful at Bowser's Castle, and of course the final boss.

I'm going to take that nostalgia, see?

also, i LOVE popple's battle music. its pretty good

I rose Luigi's HP to 999. When that bomb exploded before I fought Cackletta's Soul, Luigi survived it, and he was still doing his "healthy" idle animation before getting sucked in.

I loved everything about this except Joke;s End.

Mainly I remember doing that surfing minigame for the near impossible Hoo beans.

Did any of you find the bros rock? I found it by accident.

First time I played the game, I found the Bros. Rock, but not accidentally. It took me a long while to locate all of the Beanstones the beanish man asked of me.

Another memory I have from this game was how long it took to get through jokes end. I would rather go through bowser's castle twice than go through jokes end.

Joke's End was a pain (I thought the boss fight at the end was rather creative, though, giving you the option to choose your opponent).

I think I have fought the same opponent every time I've done a playthrough of this because I forgot which one I chose the last time I played through it.

They are all the same; the only thing you choose is what name shows up when you are choosing who to attack.

The ones with red hair have higher defense.

But they all can change their hair, right? (They say: "Does that mustache man like me? NOW he will! Guh" or something similar)
