Invalid characters when logging in

I had to reinstall Google Chrome because it kept glitching.
When I reinstalled, it lost all of my saved passwords, so I tried logging back in. Unfortunately, the "&" in my username is considered an invalid character in login. I used my old name to log in, and thankfully it worked, but is there any way possible to remove "&" from the invalid character list?

When signing in, you'll need to use your username, to my knowledge there's no possible way to sign in under a display name.

You could ask Porple about that last bit if you really want it for some odd reason, but it seems kind of unnecessary.

Your log-in name is Goombar, so you shouldn't have log-in problems, as that doesn't contain an ampersand.
